You got a rubber bit on that plow? looks like it's leaving quite a bit of ice behind. We only use rubber bits on our plows so they don't screw up the roads so much. But they leave a lot of compacted snow and ice behind.

Proper cold start on that 257. It can be 30 degrees Fahrenheit at the factory and they all start just like that 257. Thought about looking into the 257D3 for landscaping. Any thoughts on your 257D?

Why do dump trucks always have the bed raised a bit when parked? My assumption is so rain drains out, but wouldn't (most) drain out anyway - and it doesn't rain nightly.

Haha no it’s open still, my dad said that today, what if you hit someone? My thing is I plowing super early so no one is there, and when it gets light out I actually honk while approaching the cross sections just to warn anyone and I hover the break. Never hit anyone in 5 years yet lol

It’s not about the depth of snow, it never is with snow removal. It’s about the liability. Whether it’s 4cm or 4 feet, it still has to be taken. If someone comes and slips and falls and sues and says hey they didn’t maintain and it was slippy than I’m screwed. That’s what a lot of people don’t understand, from the ownership side of business. Not about how much, about saving your ass.

Ha ha ha, you know you get a crap ton of snow when it gets plowed with a grader. Wonder how much of the road surface would be left if they tried that here in Scotland!!!! We would be screwed if something ever happens to the Gulf Stream. We’d get as much snow as you guys do, and for that matter are totally not prepared for it. Oh yeah....... PLOW IT.
