If you use thorny ground on the Loyal Subjects mission, it becomes way easier. There is tight paths to funnel them through and it slows them down tremendously. Also they pretty much run in straight lines. Try it out!

Just so you all know he's wrong, you have to have the weapon equipped to be gaining stats from it - it's very easy to see this by equipping a ranged weapon with stealth and checking your stats and u will see you only get the +20 stealth when u have that crossbow equipped.

Same goes for set bonuses. Swapping melee weapons will drop a tier, it does NOT work on your back.

My guding blade build I think is much better than this for endgame. I put 40 points into metal to get access to poison snare ability and other metal debuff spells. Then I just max out Fire for the extremely hi damage fire spells and buffs. Guding blade scales A in both fire and metal so with split maxing those you get absurd damage output. Also when you poison an enemy it lowers their flame resistance so your fire attacks and flame weapon does even more damage. For armor I am actually running the full Curse of Hejian armor set and curved sword. You get a crazy plus 10% more damage with curved sabre's which you are using two off. The demon drought blade actually does more damage than the guding blade overall with its crazy fire martial art. I just whip out the Guding blade when I want to break somethings spirit really fast. You can also put a few points into earth to get to lower equip load and of course the 3 points into wood if you want the heals. But I mostly just focus on strong offense and it works well. This build is very strong in new game plus because of its absurdly high damage output as well as being somewhat tanky with the medium armor and debuffs. Its also a fun fast playstyle that uses two different weapons and martial arts as well as a mix of powerful metal and fire spells. Way more fun than just spamming the charge over and over. You should definitely try out my build if you want a strong guding blade build.

@@EDMVNDEE For fire build blasting flare is always a solid staple. The basic fireball actually can be very effective as well for a ranged option early. Amplify damage is probably the most broken skill in the fire tree. Just buff up before you do your critical attack and you can almost oneshot half the bosses in the game. Engulfing inferno is the other busted spell. After a crit just throw down a couple pillars as they get back up. Flame weapon is solid too but I didnt use it too much because I found a flame enchant I could slot into my main weapon. Also its worth putting 3 points into wood for the big critical strike heals. I was mostly rocking a spear for the first half of the game until I found a good sword and then eventually Lu Bu's halberd. But the guding blade is definitely an endgame weapon if you stay in Fire because it does not get A scaling until level 9. I would not bother with metal at all until your fire is at least 70. The raw damage increase from solo maxing fire early is just too good to pass up in my opinion. I solo leveled fire all the way until I beat the game and it worked very well for me. The damage I could put out was absurd. Made the game honestly too easy. Sorry for the long reply but hope some of this helps!

well to help you out of your dream to benefit from your second weapon it doesnt cause you need to have it equiped as your main to get the stats you always only have the stats of two weapons your weapon your fighting with and the ranged weapon you have equiped at that time but not from all four otherwise i could have put 8x extra QI at my items 4 weapons and 4 armor pieces but that isnt true at all and i have tested this

This is very important. You can only use a ranged weapon as a stat stick. Also I’ve seen them mention you can have a weapon in your back to proc a set bonus, this is also misinformation. You lose a tier of the bonus if you switch off the weapon. Anyone who doesn’t believe, check the Status page, and scroll to active effects. Swap Weapons, check again.

It's also worth while using the spirit summon embedment too I use the dual swords with lightning damage buffs and have the summon charge buff which means I can stagger the boss more often with less harm to myself allows me to do lots of Crit damage and one shot Crit most enemies with massive stagger build up

@@youcefsaadat the weapon he used in the video I think is one of the companion weapons so farm cup of cordiality and level up your oath with them to get the weapon and armour, I haven't used it yet as I'm still using the chivalrous dual swords with the poor axe as my secondary

Idk, I’m specced Into lightning and water but found two Toxic Enchants. So I can do a base amount of poison even before hitting the morale required to use an ele weapon spell. I’ve got “elemental weapon damage+” and a lot of “dmg to enemy with negative effects” so having the enchant helps keep those active early in a level. But I’ve also been leaning into elemental dual swords to apply status after status, so this fit right in.

It’s all good but ain’t all the special stats random on the gear sets and you can’t change them so you have to farm them to get that special traits you need and they also have to be 4*

They need to be 4* to have the minimum embed slots you need. However, gear sets, all of their embedments can be altered. Unlike regular sets. Because their set bonus counts as an embedment slot.

Best build by far is my fatal deflect build. One shots anything and insta breaks a full spirit bar upon one deflect. As for weapons you wanna run staffs but really anything works. This build by all means is a glass cannon an will have you getting yourself 1-4 tapped by basic ng+ enemies.

@@llamatarian3913 I don’t have a link. It’s a simple build, use one of two armor sets Taoist (hong set) or laibationor set. Be sure that you embed four specific effects. power upon deflect, damage amp upon deflect (or fatal), damage to enemies under neg effect, increased damage based on equip load (free plus 12% damage cuz you gonna run light armor.). Other than that you wanna embed just damage of any kind, I recommend running a full set of five star gear but those two 4 star sets I mentioned work great seeing as how you are gonna run two debuffs either thorny shot or thorny ground and wicked life. There’s a weird glitch in the game at the moment that makes it to where slower movement speed equates to slower attack speed as well makes it easier for perfect deflect. Any weapon buff the boss is weak to works great as well my current stats for the build is 80,2,2,40,20 have fun an enjoy tweaks will be posted if I change or substitute anything.

This is a good build for PVE, no doubts. But for PVP? It's actually terrible. I run into a lot of people using it and they just get destroyed so easily. The moment they try to use the martial art, they are dead.

@Lyaagato Full Shaohao with Night Owl Cane and Libationer Guo grieves. 75 metal, 25 earth, and the rest is Wood. Go nuts, get stupid. It melts in PvP, and it destroys every boss but Zhiang Bao(fire cancels poison) Embed all of your gear for toxin damage and anything related to toxin or wizardry. Martial arts damage and spirit consumption are nice as well, but not necessary. I can apply every debuff, plus the subtlety of metal, which is attack down/spirit down/defense down, but it is permanent and it needs a fatal strike deflect to proc. You can probably dump into other virtues, but I choose Wood for the health. EDIT: You do need the crossbow with set requirement mitigation. You can also raise your Libationer set count to a 3 piece bonus if you get a decent silver dice.

@Lyaagato Evil Taoist is suuuuuuuper squishy, but it is a great armor set if you "git gud" The other stuff is just random drop so best of luck. Though you can get the Libationer Guo from ranking up the follower to get his set (I forget his name) If you find a way to improve the set, more power to you (no pun intended) I just used what I could due to trash RNG. EDIT: These builds are NG+ builds.
