Would you please do an explanation of snow terms, along the lines you did for rain v showers. I have been trying to get my head around the forecasts of "flurries" of 27" of snow. p.s. what is a weather bomb thanks

A weather bomb is just what the media have started to call areas of low pressure which develop really quickly. Meteorologists call it 'Cyclogenesis', but that doesn't mean anything to most people. so the media came up with their own term! And yes, absolutely I will do a snow terms explainer! Hopefully next week, although Dad's currently in hospital, so will be slightly dependent on how he's doing. 😃
