Hapax legomenon is a word or expression that occurs once in a context. It sparked popularity in the British quiz show university challenge after Ted Loveday got a question in it right in lightning speed as part of the gonville and Caius- Cambridge.

Hey Scott! I challenge you to start your wordle with 25 unique characters leaving you with only 1 guess to guess the word. Use these words: Glent, brick, jumpy, vozhd and waqfs. These words have been tried and tested and they all work - good luck!

I always start dordle, quordle, and octordle with the crate, pound, slimy. It checks 15 unique, good letters, all the vowels, and all the wheel of fortune letters, so I hope you try it and find success. It got me the “pran” from prank in all greens before I even started guessing. I always start wordle with adieu to get vowels though. P.S. I didn’t even know hapax was a word. I guessed Japan after crate, pound, slimy, so I had the “apa”. I had to google words containing apa to find my next guess because I couldn’t think of one, so props to you for getting it. My way felt like cheating, but I never would’ve gotten the answer without it.

I think its a nice ironic joke that hapax is something that is there only once and due to its rarity: Hapax is also a hapax in the sense that it will probably only be a correct word once. Also in every wordlist every word is a hapax

Have you tried a Qwordle yet? It is not a typo of Quordle that is how it's spelt. You have to guess 2 words in one Grid so you don't know which words the yellows and greens apply to Like this so Scott can see it
