Hello everyone! In today's video I am trying out a few new makeup items I have picked up over the past several weeks. I have the Enduring Love palette from Sydney Grace, the new Persona Blushes and a few things from the new Ofra x Samantha March collaboration. I don't usually fall to hard for products in a first impressions but boy were these great! I was blown away by ALL of these things and cannot wait to keep testing them out! Let me know if you have tried them out and what you thought! I will be sure to keep testing them and give you an update!
*QUICK NOTE: April FULL MONTH of YOUR video suggestions starts Tomorrow! This video went up a day later than I had hoped:)
I hope you are all doing well and I hope this video makes you feel a little less alone during your isolation! Thank you all so much for stopping by!

I’ve heard people say Rose hip oil, or maybe Niacinamide. I know Niacinamide is good for hyperpigmentation. Penn Smith Skincare channel a great resource of videos. She is a Master Aesthetician. People also LOVE Curology and know that they can formulate with azelaic acid and clindamyacin.

Dermatology nurse here..........they no longer make the Azelex BUT there is one we RX all the time: Finacea 15% foam. People absolutely LOVE this foam. Because derm meds can be quite costly, we send the scripts to a specialty pharmacy where the cost is anywhere from ZERO to the most it could cost is $75.00. It depends on your RX coverage provided by your insurance. Most people pay $30.00. There is a generic gel version of azelaic acid 15%, but feedback from my patients is that the foam works better. If you go through a specialty pharmacy they mail it to you at no charge. At least this is how it works in NY. Contact a derm doc and I am sure they can help you.

Tammy P Thank you for the suggestion! I’ve been using Trentonoin 0.025% for years but my new Rx insurance won’t cover it AT ALL 😭 I’m using very sparingly what I have left from my 90 day refill I’m going to talk to my Derm after this Corona disaster about a replacement med for my PCOS induced hormonal acne. Yay 😁 Phenomenal powder shadows & cream shadows❗️❗️❗️ (I like cool toned shadows more than warm toned overall for the record) Some of my personal recommendations: CREAM SHADOWS - Vibrant Madness, Boardwalk, Glory POWDER SHADOWS - Flannel, Drift, Winter Wonder, Concrete Road, Winter Time, Recruit, Peace, Somber, Tiara, Abies, Mittens, Island Paradise, Antique Coin, Chocolate Bar Her mattes blend immaculately (as you found out) and her metallics and shimmers are jaw dropping 😵 I would also recommend her blushes, highlighters and new lip creams. Basically, you won’t be disappointed with anything you order Mandy ♥️😀

There are coupons for Sydney grace products available online for anyone who want to get this palette or anything else of theirs! Also rose hip oil is super helpful for acne scars and redness. Any colors you choose from Sydney Grace will be the same excellent quality!! They’re all excellent! One of my favorites is concrete road. But honestly the formula is consistent. I’d recommend retin a. You can get it from a dermatologist (prescription) or online from another country (risky) or if your state allows, from the Curology website. Love this look! Definitely going to try to recreate it tomorrow!! Thank you!! 😘

For scarring, Taylor Wynn recommends The Ordinary's Rosehip oil. For hyperpigmentation, The Ordinary's Alpha Arbutin serum is supposed to work really well! I find that using their Niacinamide and Retinol 5% gets rid of any texture, breakouts and sun spots on my skin. But, I don't have many of them. Good luck and hope you find a solution. One suggestion that I follow it only adding one product at a time for a couple of weeks. It can be tedious, but then I know what is working and what bothers my skin❤

Love the look. I have been thinking about doing a puzzle. I have been knitting. Made a Shaw and now working on a baby blanket for my daughter's friend. As for fading dark spots since my third pregnancy I have pigmentation issues in my cheeks. I use Avon's banishing cream. I use it just once a day for results. I gave one to a co-worker and she used it twice a day and got results fast.

I had really awful hyperpigmentation after my son was born. After trying some overpriced skincare products that didnt do ANYTHING, I finally felt bothered enough to get the prescription Obagi skincare system. It was about $600 but it worked great - I saw a big difference after a week. I repurchased it three times and after about two years I felt like I didn't need it anymore. I totally get the desire to spend a bit more if you know 100% that the product will WORK!!!

I use the Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C+ Pure Radiant Drops with Arctic Cloudberry. I think they've done a repackaging but it says all of that on the little jar I have also, not just the box. I saw a difference in my face the very first time I used it - not immediately, I actually used it at night and the next morning the redness and purplish capillaries around my nose were practically gone. I LOVE these beauty drops. If I've been picking at my skin and irritating it, I always use one of these drops and the next morning my face is so much better - redness gone. I don't use them every day, the vitamin C in it feels like it's burning me when I use it too much, so I use them a couple times a week. I get them at Walgreens.

I'm 32 with an unfortunate amount of scars and hyperpigmentation. I have tried a stupid amount of products, and really the only things I (and others) have actually noticed a difference with is the combo of dermaplaning, PTR FirmX peeling gel, and microdermabrasion every other month. Yea that means I often eat cereal for dinner because of the cost. Really though I use the peeling gel twice a week and dermaplane once a week. Microdermabrasion is expensive but I was blown away, they do it at Ulta, save those points!! Shhhh - I have a secret...I don't buy fancy dermaplaning blades, I use a regular ass men's razor. Just be extra careful and you are exfoliated and smooth as can be.

I still get acne and I am 43. I use the nexcare acne patches. They work so well! They are like little stickers. But man do they cut the time down on how long acne will last and the pigmentation for me. I also use them in my twin sons. They are 12. Highly recommend. I get mine from Amazon. I get 108 pack. Just an idea. I have also used clove oil in the past for cystic acne. One thing though it burns at first for a little while then it is fine. It works though. I put that on a qtip then put in on cyst. Love this look. Also just ordered the Sydney enduring love palette. Can't wait. Really want the persona blush too. Ugh!!!! Keep being well.

Hi Mandy great video love love those colours in the Sydney Grace pallet and the lip is really pretty too actually all the products you used are really gorgeous , also might be worth using nutrageana pore reducing primer it has Alfa beta hydroxy acid and is really effective to help with breakouts the saysilic acid in it works really well at working from under or inside the skin rather than just the top layer,to help with acne it also helps with pigmentation too, might be worth trying until you can get hold of the product your wanting and it's really inexpensive, take care all the best Mary🌻

If any of your acne scars have caused texture, I have seen improvement of my skin in the last several weeks using the Derma E Scar Gel. To help deal with the pigmentation of the scars I am trying the Derma E Skin Brighten cream. I have just started using it though so I can’t say how effective it is yet. I was curious to try it out since it doesn’t have some of the seemingly harsher ingredients like hydroquinone since I am breastfeeding.

Try Niacinamide! The ordinary one is good and the ink you list one is good.❤️❤️❤️

I have always used vitamin E on my face, it seems to have helped keep scaring away. My skin is not perfect by no means, but people are surprised to find out that I’m 45 years old and a lot of the time the only thing I have on my face is a SPF and mascara. Anyway girl, no matter what you are gorgeous inside and out.😊

Prescription Retin-A (tretinoin). It takes time, but it really makes a difference on age spots, Melasma, and acne. And yes always swatches on my 🤚🏻

Same thing happened to me when I turned 34 and the biggest aid for those spots has been prescription retin A but be warned it has a breakout phase followed by amazing skin phase hope that helps. I get it for about $60.

Ok, great, now there’s ANOTHER eyeshadow palette I have to buy! Dang-it, it’s just so pretty! The eye look you created was gorgeous! Oh, and I walk through Sephora all the time with swatches all over the backs of my hands! And I don’t have the excuse of having a KZbin channel! Looking forward to lots of great videos this month!

So I struggle with the same thing. And haven't found the right skincare product but one thing that has helped a bit is sunscreen!! Even when I'm at home I reapply every two hours and it really does help it not making the dark spots worse.

Enduring love was my first Sydney Grace (maybe my last considering the shipping cost, VAT - it cost me around 100 dollars) and I really like it. You are the queen of wearable looks. Would you consider doing one of your 7 looks videos with Enduring love? Please :).

I totally swatch and I’m not a youtuber. Every time I get a new palette, I have to swatch all the colours & I get so excited when the colours & pigmentation are a win, and other times I’ll swatch to see what colours will match the look. Yeah, I’d totally fistpump if I saw someone else walking around with swatches. 🤜🏼🤛🏼

For pigmentation and spots, I have been researching for something for myself because I, like you, need something for more mature skin. I heard Niacinamide, squalene, and vitamin C does the trick for those. Recently, I saw the skincare brand "Paulas Choice" has a 15% vitamin C serum. :)

You can get Azalaic acid 10% suspension from The Ordinary. I used to have it compounded for patients with perioral dermatitis. There’s a fungus that naturally produces this acid and it is the cause of the depigmentation seen in Tinea Versicolor. Btw - stronger isn’t necessarily better 😘

I think you should check out Curology as I think it would help your skin issues. You can request a formulation with azelaic acid -- and it works super well, you are right!

I’ve had lots of luck with Niacinimide (the Ordinary) and chemical exfoliants like Mandelic acid (you guessed it, the Ordinary, haha). I used to get the upper lip pigmentation and I was so self-conscious about it! I did just grow out of it, and I do notice acne scars disappearing more quickly as well. I just don’t know exactly what products are doing that. I’ve always heard that vitamin e is great for scarring, and lots of vitamin c serums (like the Glowmaker by Maelove) also have vitamin e, so that might be a good one to try. I did use that and my skin looked great, so I may actually repurchase it soon!

There’s a mask from ole Hendrickson called phat glow. It’s a pha exfoliating treatment - I use it once or twice a week and it really does help lighten my acne scars over time. I also like the honeymoon glow from farmacy - it’s an acid treatment too. I have chronic acne and very fair skin so I always have marks even after my acne heals.

For acne scars, try lavender essential oil. Use tea tree essential oil when you feel a breakout coming on. Stick with Young Living, DoTERRA, Edens Garden or Rocky Mountain brands.

Paula's Choice makes a couple products that target dark spot lightening & they also have an Azelic Acid Booster. Depending on your skin type, using a BHA or AHA plus a sunscreen & vit c can be helpful. I assume anything pharmceutical would be more effective than any cosmetic grade product.
