​@tanking ayaka q is too powerful for this game lol also if you are in the middle i think you can use any aoe attack (kazuha or kuki in my case) and it will weaken. The problem is when it's underground for a whole 3 seconds where you have to wait and then the floor tornado where you're like 8 seconds doing nothing. It's so much time wasted ;-;

Took me four tries to finally get a good boss pattern where I had enough time to DPS. Luckily floor 12 first half was pretty quick with Mona + Hu Tao, so it wasn't too annoying to reset.

I've been 36* abyss for a long time. I've made it through the sheer cold floors, the corrosion mechanic, the 3 maguu kenkis, the 3 different abyss lectors, and a two or three rounds of the PMA on floor 12. But this current abyss rotation with the freaking ruin serpent has annoyed me so much I've almost given up on that 36* streak. I swear the dev that placed that boss in abyss deserves to step on legos every time somebody resets on 12-3.

Thunder Manifestation does not belong in the Abyss. So much of its moves will stall you out, force you to keep running away, and will drain you of all of your stamina just to reach the damn thing.

I think the ruin serpent is more annoying. That thing has so many invulnerability frames.

The serpent is more sickening. The trick to Thunder Manifest is to face him head on as long you good damage and bit of dodging. Mono Pyro with Anemo are really great for Team 1. I just don't have 3rd pyro dps.

I feel weird because I actually sort of liked this abyss, but it was easy enough for my choice teams I guess. Ayato hypercarry (especially after getting Kazuha) and Hu Tao Double Hydro. I mean Hu Tao did make all the single target chambers absolute jokes and that gave some leeway to Ayato for the first half.

Floor 12 is becoming a more and more of a pain every iteration. I'm at the point where I'll just settle for what I get on my 1st run since those rewards really aren't worth the time/headache for rerunning a floor. I wish that floor 12 was just 2 sides but only have 1 difficult-cracked out boss chamber each side, makes things more rewarding to fight something that compared to rounds of mobs where RNG can mess things up with timing.

I too stopped caring about abyss way long ago, i know i can clear it at 36 stars if i tried but it's not worth the headache, i usually just go for 27 stars and sometimes 33 if i was saving for a character

For a long time, I didn't bother with the Abyss, then I got to the point where I was doing at least 9 and 10 because they're pretty easy. 11 and 12 were giving me trouble for a while, so I just resigned myself to not getting 36* because I didn't want to get mad that I was off by a second (that happened way too many times) before I just eventually got there by building up the characters I enjoyed most. It's really easy to get through Abyss if you tunnel the most Meta characters but it feels so much more fun when you get through it with characters you just legitimately like instead. Still usually do it in two parts, though, 11 and 12 are just so much different from 9 and 10 that I just don't wanna run through all of that at once.

@@BatQuinn It's what happens to a lot of people I imagine. You might need to try and focus on two maybe three dps characters you really want to play, and funnel your resin into building their talents and levels etc so you have some reliable characters to build around

Usually as a whale, you have most of what you need that you can't work on over time. As long as you max 8 characters and focus your resources, you'll get there. There's always room to grow, even for whales.

Been 36 staring the abyss ever since the end 2021 where the Rifthound rotation is (a whole fkin pain legit those mob were). The thing that keeps me driving in to 36 star every single reset and rotation is becuz i wanna maintain the consistency lvl that I had built up for my acc, and I knew it myself that I can do it. But over times, I thought to myself after a few rotation down the road, "is it even worth my time anymore to full star f12 every single time?". Because 36 staring an abyss is like a huge achievement, is not becuz of those primos, but to tell myself that u are a veteren genshin player and u must do so, I still rmb the first time I got full star on spiral abyss and I was joyful af. Now the flame just slowly dying inside me, I feel burnt out trying to clear full star and get this shit done over it, this current rotation itself is a big pain already. Although I still manage to squeeze out 3 star chamber 3 in a matter of second, I feel like is finally time for me to stop trying it so hard to achieve something on clearing abyss rotation that fill with questionable mobs, fkin rng atk patterns, and bosses that just doesnt make sense to me anymore with their bullshitery health pool. The more I clear, the more malding I have just to keep it consistent with my 36 star record over the past one year. After this account review vid, seeing someone is not even tryin it to get full star on f12 has already made me make up my mind to ignore gettin full star ever again, this just shows how taunting it is to clear abyss for the past few rotation, yet rewards still stay the same, to me primos is not the big factor for me on clearing it full star every single time, but if the rewards still stay unchanged over the next few patches but the abyss gets harder over time, i might just stop trying so hard anymore, is not worth my time anymore to keep doing it. With that being said, I would still clear fl12 as usual for the upcoming reset, but I just dont wanna bother to much on it anymore, a clear is a clear, whether is 3 or 6 star, I'm not losing my sanity no more to get something so diminishing in return for me now at this point

I've always felt that the Abyss rewards were on the low side, especially the lower floors. Those rewards will look even less if one's gaming budget allows for whaling. I only do it once a lunar rotation and if I don't get all the stars, it really doesn't matter. I stop when the grind no longer is any fun. That aside, I wouldn't consider this account that of a whale though. Just a mid to high end collector.

I actually haven't even cleared the 12th floor yet. Usually, I don't play the abyss at all, because I don't like it. I know the primos are nice, but ultimately, even if you 36-star it, it comes down to 7 pulls and some extra primos. If I had better artifacts, things might be different, but I don't want to waste my time on something I dislike doing for max 7 pulls a month. So, I'm absolutely with this account. I'm also a comfortable dolphin (I only ever whaled on my fav character Xiao) and character collector.

I allow my resin to cap. I don’t do my commissions except when I want to. I do half the events on the last day they’re up. I haven’t broken lv30 on the last three BPs. I 27star on the regular and call it a day (and I have 36starred, so it’s not like I couldn’t if I wanted to). My quest backlog is enormous. I’m ***free to play***. For y’all it might be pain seeing this guy have so much on his acct and ignoring it but once you shake off Hoyoverse’s conditioning that makes you feel like you have to play into these cycles you feel so free. This abyss is anti freeze team but my strongest character is Ayaka so I just resorted to melt Ayaka and it actually worked for some reason. Ever since I never played freeze Ayaka anymore

i never believed in freeze ayaka, i do ayaka+bennett+yunjin+zhongli and i just tear everything apart

Welp Melt Ayaka is just: "How many strong Burst can I stack on an enemy?" If you play Xiangling + Ayaka (maybe even Kazuha or Venti) there is no way the enemy will survive if you build good enough. The reactions are just the bonus.

@@audreylepinay4909 Welp Sunfire Jean is still really strong. Like she swirls a lot. Which is also really good damage. And Bennett is in there (forgot about that. Don't ask why). Ayaka Freeze doesn't care about Bennett because her raw damage is super high. A Ayaka Burst + Bennett buff alone should clear most things. As said Melt is just a nice addition because why not.

I always get my 550 primos that's 33 stars (usually takes me one or two tries) and never bother to get to 36... Honestly the 50 primos are not worth your time re-doing the floor again and again and trying new combs and new teams just to get 36 stars... That's why they need to upgrade the rewards... They keep making 12-3 more tanky and more difficult while the reward is still 50 primos smh 🤦‍♂️
