I really appreciate your tutorials. I’m learning a lot. I never even knew about Fresco until you! It’s rad 🔥

Thanks for the video! I usually use Procreate for lettering and logo sketches, then Illustrator for vectorizing. I found that drawing in Fresco is more fun and definitely better for animation. I’m excited to try it for lettering, and I love the feature that locks dragging on the axis. Quick question: I saw your setup on Amazon with the Sigma lens, but since the ZV-1 doesn’t support interchangeable lenses, what camera body are you using with it? Thanks!

Thank you for this video. It’s always helpful to see new letters being created out of old fonts like this. I recently purchased the Lettering Library as well and it’s so huge that I’m a little bit lost in it. I feel like I could put on an album and just scroll through all the pages forever and never actually make anything. I might be geeking out about typography.

Love your work! U are a huge inspiration for me, a beginner in this area, I would love to see a video of the best brushes, now that Fresco is free, greeting from Mexico!

Thanks so much! To be honest, the only brush pack I use is mine from Retro Supply Co because I built it out to have everything I wanted and regularly used. I did do a video a long time ago that is probably still relevant though!

Helpful, nice resources you're pulling from. What pad/stylus are you using?

2 questions: Do you ever draw in some guidelines for your base/x heights using the ruler on a separate layer? Second & possibly a good video idea, but is there a way to clean up Fresco vector files easily in Illustrator once you export the files. Meaning the unnecessary anchor points. A way to streamline the process maybe some scripts or something. I'm always having to go in with the simplify tool a bit to remove tons of anchor points. Thanks

Hi Chris, do you use Affinity Designer and if so, do you have any tips on Designer to Fresco workflow? All I've been able to do so far is export from Designer as a psd file and then open in Fresco for animation purposes, but there doesn't seem to be any way to import vectors. Would like to know if I'm missing something as I love both these programs and would like them to play well together! Thanks :)

Hey buddy. As always, very inspiring and informative video. Learned some new stuff yet again. Just a small criticism: yea is pronounced “yay.” You meant “yeah.” Good talk- I hope Btw- Happy Thanksgiving!
