October London is October London AND Mr. MARVIN GAY is Marvin Gaye! I am probably a #1 Marvin Gaye n Stevie Wonder fan, who prefers Jazz, but, Mr. October London is super n A-Ok! At my earliest convenience, will attend an October London concert. Let your mind expand n absorb some of the newer music. I did not suggest changing ur favs, my grandsons❤❤ tease me about Carlos Santana and Santana, LOL. 🎉Peace.

It's amazing to me when Ruben Studdard hit the scene...I don't recall anyone saying he was trying to copy Luther Or Teddy!!! Just sayin. There is 1 Luther & 1 Teddy & 1 Marvin. Period!!!

When I gave my comments about October London, I gave them in a very detailed, mature and levelheaded manner, unlike the reply I got from @pooh110, which was very irrational, immature and made absolutely no sense whatsoever and quite frankly the fact that someone over the age of 5, let alone a 64-year-old, replied back to me in the manner that you did is ridiculous. Besides in your own imagination, when did I refer to October London as a nobody. If I didn't think the man was talented, I wouldn't have wasted my time commenting about him in the first place. October showed on the songs Actor's remorse and Do What you Do that he can sing like and produce a sound that doesn't like anyone other than himself and as a result, those were the 2 songs on his latest album that I liked and I want to hear more of that from him in the future and like I said in a previous comment, I don't think that's too much to ask. In this forum, myself and everybody else who gives comments have the right to criticize whoever and whatever they damn well please and it helps if people do it in a mature manner unlike the individual who replied to me yesterday. To @pooh110, It's really not that deep. I think you should take Rema's advice and calm down

First of all, stop with the king of r and b nonsense. Second of all, there's only one Marvin Gaye and as someone who was born in 1971, I liked my singers to have originality and develop their own style of singing instead of copying someone else's way of singing as well as their musical arrangements. Singers like Marvin, Donny and Al to name a few are legends because they were originals, they didn't copy anyone else's style and they didn't have to because of their immense musical talent. I want October London to be just that, October London and not be a carbon copy of someone else. There's times when he shows that and I hope he does that more often in the future 💯

Very opinionated, I respectfully disagree on of what you said. October is not a carbon copy. He us his own artist, who happens to sound like and was inspired by Marvin Gaye. I think it's disrespectful to call him a carbon copy. Be happy he's helping to keep r&b music in today's society alive, and he brought back a classic and sound with a live band. Give this young man some kinda credit geez. He will be here for a long time. I'm rooting for this young man to win in today's R&B ...it's needed.

I've heard October London songs where the music and the singing, down to the Whoo! phrase that Marvin Gaye was famous for was identical. I haven't heard every song that October has released but I can only go by what I hear. Now as far as helping to keep R and B music alive!? Seriously? October just came on the scene and you're already claiming him as one of R and B's saviors. When I look at artists who have helped to keep Rand B music alive, I look at Rahsaan Patterson, who has put out a lot of great music since his 1997 debut album. There's also Kevin Ross, FLWR CHYLD, Raquel Rodriguez, Adi Oasis, Cleo Sol and others that have helped keep quality R and B music alive. Hopefully after a few more albums and hopefully more originality both musically and vocally I'll agree with your assessment of Mr. London but until then, I stand by my previous comment about him 💯

First of all, I can't recall any artist that nailed Marvelous Marvin so beautifully, he told you from the start in his interviews that he grew up listening to old school and the ones he sounds like he love them, give October his props, he's multi-talented, versatile and a legend at this time, all his songs are awesome, feel the man vibes and flow with him, no one can do what he's doing, he is definitely "THE ONE", say it's not so-the music industry is in a choke hold, real talk
