They released a few eps as a whole punk pop band when they first formed but then decided to get rid of the rest of the band and stick to acoustic songs.

It's naive to say that this album doesn't have any hint of ADTR in it, because obviously it does. This is a lot more punk-pop, but there are still similarities between the two bands. Also--they covered ADTR's If it Means a Lot to you.

I wouldn't say Naive- Same genre so there's gonna be similarities. Honestly though, they sound a lot more like Hit the Lights than ADTR (Or at least early HTL)

Sorry for my lack of knowledge..but are this wild life a pop punk band or an acoustic band? If they used to be a pop punk band why did they split up and keep the name for an acoustic duo or do the full band still perform? Very confused, until a few days ago i thought they were just an acoustic duo haha. Brilliant album though!

They are currently an acoustic duo. The vocalist has stayed the same, and the current "other half" of the duo drummed for this album (although he plays guitar on the acoustic tracks on this album). I remember Kevin saying in an interview that he felt his writing was more conducive to acoustic songs, and also he said his voice suits acoustic more.

They used to perform as a band, but now they seem to only play as an acoustic act. Those guys are the drummer and the vocalist from this band. I personally, would love to see them play as a band.
