Fyi thats not the entirety of Hell, thats just the Pride Ring. They havent really gotten into the lore in the series, but we know this thru Helluva Boss

Came here just to say this. This is only the innermost circle of the ring of pride. The sister series, helluva boss, travels through the other rings, being hell-born. Sinners are trapped and restricted to only the ring of pride. There are some good songs as well there, but not nearly as musical as this series is.

Not only that, but this is just a CITY within the pride ring. We know of other cities in the same ring because IMP city exists in Helluva Boss. A city in the pride ring where the main cast of Helluva Boss lives in.

In case you weren't already aware, the voice actor for Sir Pentious is the same person who voices Adam! So, he sings both Hell is Forever and It Starts with Sorry, two wildly different characters and songs. He also voices another character in Helluva Boss and is well-known for his roles in Broadway in Beetlejuice and School of Rock.

I love watching how his face goes from just neutrally jamming out to the song to surprise to horror in just seconds as he’s watching Alastor in those last few seconds of the song. It’s funny and accurately depicts my exact reaction when I first seen it as well.

Another note that I don't see people Comment on very often is Alistair's last section in 'stayed gone' addresses/mirrors Vox's opening that was before Vox went live which implies Alistair heard everything

There's a theory that Alastor knows that Vox is watching the whole time. That's why he goes to the tailor to repair his ripped coat.

I never thought about the diegetic implication of that mirroring... 🤯 I mean, it could just be "musical logic". E.g. we see often characters singing and harmonizing together, but we don't assume they were reading each other's minds to know the exact words to sing, right? 😅

The 'star sign' is called a pentagram, and yee Lilith was the first wife of Adam in some religions. Then Eve came after Lilith ran off because she didn't like Adam demanding her subservience. Also fun fact, when Vox pulls a deer head out of the oven, it's a visual jab at Alastor. When he was alive, he got shot in the forehead by a hunter who mistook him as a deer. It's why he has that X on his forehead, and why he has deer elements in both his 'normal' form and his more demonic one.

I would actually say that Spotify, podcasts, audio dramas, audiobooks etc is just the new fotm of radio (; it's longform audio and not on physical media etc) sobin that sense Radio is making a comeback especially given that cable and satellite TV being replaced almost entirely with streaming .

I love that you loved sorry song because this was such a GREAT song and i listened it again again. Everybody's least favorite song but for me its in top 5. Because Sir Pentious is the first and only sinner to ever wanted to change. Yeah Angeldust was there too but lets be honest he didn't believe in redemtion. I think sorry song is biggest move on pilot because we see a sinner who wants to be better.

It's not that he didn't believe, you have to remember that Val has a hold on him that he probably doesn't think he'll ever get out of. When Charlie praises Sir Pentious you can see that Angel is kind of upset by it. Especially when she tells Pentious he'll be redeemed in no time. He feels bad and it shows a few times.
