Testing out my new Freedom Patriot boat today. I have a lot to learn still but we had a blast figuring it all out.
Premier Yamaha in Aransas Pass is where I bought the boat. I had them install a Minn Kota 24 volt 80 pound thrust trolling motor with GPS and spot lock. 8 foot Power Pole. Garmin GPS and fish finder. Everything worked great on the boat!

Nice! To adjust your throttle, there is a little plate under the throttle. Stick something in the small hole to wedge it open. Comes off easy. There is a screw in there to tighten your throttle. Best to do it while you are out there to see how much you want to adjust it.

Very nice! I used to pull my yak across Aransas bay and fish the marsh that was too shallow for my boat and too soft to wade. Also, a light bar comes in very handy.

One thing we learned with our boat is to unhook the trailer lights when launching and retrieving the boat to prevent them from getting shorted out if they have a small leak to let water in

I can run it as shallow as a kayak but I can't stop to get back up on plane unless I have about 12 inches of water with mud bottom, so far anyways. I can't fish it as shallow as a kayak though. Trolling motor needs more water.

You need to put your reels in front of the rubber holder on gunnel are they will slide back

They must have put to big of a bend in the tubes when they heated them up. The only issue i have is with a poping cork you have to keep it out slde the tube. I usually put the jig head hooked in the rod butt to move the cork down. I ushually have casting rods but take a spinning for newbies.
