i cry almost every time i hear this song. i can't imagine the experience of it live.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life and I only learned of it through Instagram posts (put this song to a memory you never want to forget.) I’m 50 this year and listen to things like zeppelin, The Who, Floyd etc on to mood music like this. Songs like this touch me more than anything else. When I can FEEL a song and it invokes an emotion, whether happy or sad, it means so much to me. But yeah, this is a top 5 ALL TIME most beautiful song to me now that I’ve listened with headphones in a tranquil and silent room. The song Imagine is my #1.

I love these guys so much. You can hear no one. No one’s speaking. Because it’s so good. Everyone feels something. It’s so emotional. I would love to see them live.

The emotions that are bought out from this song, when the song has no words are unreal
@watchthegamer73 Жыл бұрын
I agree 100%! Every song I have ever wrote does not have lyrics. I sit and explore my emotions and write in the moment and after building the chord progression, I record every individual track in one take because it’s reflecting pure emotion at that very moment for me. RARELY do I record a second take of a track.

I loved that they used this song in the most emotional part of the movie "Room". Such a great band! Definitely in my top 3 favorite Post-Rock acts alongside Caspian and And So I Watch You From Afar.

I remember discovering this will destroy you back in 2009. I had an iPod nano. I actually didn’t have Spotify. I manually went thru similar artists from explosions in the sky or joy wants eternity. All the way til I came across this band and song. And I fell in love immediately. I knew not a lot of people listened to them in my school at the time. Or around the world, but a lot of people are now & and I love it. It’s amazing.

I was at a concert with them going as the last group. When they opened with this song, no one noticed for 3 minutes and just kept talking, until slowly, everything went quiet as the music went on. It was the most beautiful thing I ever witnessed. Because the chatter didn't rob the song of room, but instead filled all those so unbelievably tiny holes it left unanswered in the first few minutes. They also clapped when the first part endeda, but for the rest of the set, everyone was quiet and just filled with awe. And clapping at the right point :D
