Silent treatment is from the pit of hell. The moment I heard of it here all I could think of is my ex. That man showed me shege with silent treatment. My husband and I have matured so much to the extent that our quarrel does not last more that 30mins on average, because we've come to the agreement that no amount of fighting or anger will make us divorce. it's not easy living with a difficult man but a lot of maturity and softening up has helped us. I learnt how to laugh more than getting angry over everything.

Silent treatment stems from control, control stems from insecurities, insecurities stems from experiences and experiences stems from childhood, so this is a much deeper rooted issue than just unlearning. Majority of people that fall in this, bracket tends to be narcissist and this will take engaging in a comprehensive therapeutic program with a very experience therapist consultant.

Effective communication, and communicating to understand each other is effective in a marriage. You can communicate all you went, what if your partner is not in it to be effective but to manipulate. What do you do with that? Talk about coconut head, you can’t handle them. You will keep binding and binding, but for how long. Silence means I don’t have the energy to handle you. But we must visit the issue same day or next day. This issue is deeper than just communicate. Sex will not fix any issues. The problem still remains.
