We're not alone, not weird, not crazy, we are human and trying to figure life out. So true. Thank you for being a great example. I used to hide in the bathroom during high school lunch during my 12-grade year, I didn't realize then that I was empathic. I just knew I felt a lot of feelings and became quite self-conscious. I'm gotten through all this but man that was a trying self-sabotaging time.

I think it's funny that you asked at the end what we do to help with limiting beliefs.... "Ummmm, I listen to Carrie Green!!!!!" Seriously! That is exactly why I hit play today. This weekend I had a long drive with my mom for 11 hours up the coast and 11 hours back Friday and Sunday. The whole time I was doing my share of the driving, I was playing your podcast, I think I listened to 10 of your podcasts. You make me feel such peace and such fire inside all at the same time. I recommend you to all of my friends. Thank you so much!!!

Oh my God Carrie thank you so much for this video and for being honest and vulnerable. As someone who has anxiety, phobias and limiting beliefs I really needed to hear this today. Your videos are amazing and today I decided to binge watch them because they make me feel better. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hi Carrie - great video and I can totally relate as I suffered from so many limiting beliefs and anxiety when I first started my business (along with impostor syndrome, visibility fears and so many more LOL). I now help others with this and you asked what we do - so yes I do all of that - visualisation and tapping are all great - here's some more: 1) Noticing when I am re-acting rather than choosing how to respond. Bringing your first reactions into the conscious mind is the first stage of making change. 2) Deciding if this re-action is serving me in this moment and if it' likely to give me the result I want. Take a step back for a moment so that you are consciously choosing how to react, set boundaries etc 3) Closing my eyes for 2 mins x 3 times a day to check in with how my body is feeling - am I feeling tense, anxious or do I feel calm, relaxed - then thinking how I have been behaving and showing up - have I been re-acting (from sub-conscious patterns) or am I choosing my reactions. 4) Watch the inner dialogue - any time it is judgemental or low energy - ask yourself why you would speak to yourself like that - is it in line with what you want. Pay attention to any dialogue around "I'm not worthy of that - I'm not good enough to have that - It's not safe for me to have/do that - I shouldn't be seen - that's not available for people like me - I feel powerless/helpless - I feel shame/guilt when I think about that - I'm not loveable etc etc". Question ANYTHING that comes up like this and start asking yourself if it's really true (HINT: - It's NOT true) - then ask yourself if you can let those feelings go (use tapping or other release strategies such as cutting cords or shifting the energy around it. 5) Be clear about what you want - most people know what they DON'T want, and they focus on that....which will get them more of that. Don't focus on the lack of something - focus on the feeling of what it would feel like if you already had it. Visualise it every day and feel it - fill yourself up with gratitude for something you already have before you do this so that you are already in an elevated state of energy. You're worth it - oh, and above all, if you suffer from anxiety - keep telling your mind "I'M SAFE" - it's very important and then tell your mind you're excited about what you're about to do - the shift is good when you do this!! Hope that helps a bit - Nicky xoxo

The exercises and changes you did as a result of Tony's seminar would make a great workshop. Any chance you could cover your notes and the exercises you did with us? I think I suffer from limited thinking on this also. I've been struggling with getting back to work ever since Covid and the resulting caregiver shortage we are experiencing in our area.

Thank you! Such a timely message and so very relatable. Another technique that basically is very similar to the ones you suggested but gives more in depth process to it is from Dr. Leaf. She has a book called Cleaning Up Your Mental Mess, which is in most libraries and may be of use for some as well.

Hi Carrie!! I look forward to Tuesdays SO much because i know i can open my phone and "get a fresh dose of business inspiration". Your messages inspire me to the point of being emotional fuel for my spirit to help me keep going with 24/7 caregiving (Yes, it began the week before the 2019 Palm Springs vacay and we have just gone thru people with no one sticking past a month. So i am still struggling with being able to work and build my business. Really chomping on the bit to figure things out and make my business work in spite of my circumstances!

Thank you for opening up and sharing yourself fully and being real with us. I appreciate your courage and caring. I've been working with a wonderful therapist for years on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Any Brene Brown book or talk is very helpful. If a person wanted to lose weight, I highly recommend NOOM.
