THIS IS THE BEST FUCKING POKER VIDEO OF ALL TIMES. As you said on the beginning it saved my poker carrier. About 1.5 years ago I had very good run in both onilne and live poker and I though "ok, I'm doing good, so now lets further improve my game and crush even more". Unfortunetly I went the wrong way - I started playing gto, exploring gto strategies, training in gto programs. As you can guess this went terrible. In about 1 year I lost all my profit that I made during the good run both in online and live. When this video came live I figured the truth and started playing exploitive. And god this was my poker salvation. From losing couple of bb/100 I instatly started crushing nl25 onilne. I'm on my way to nl50 now. I swear to fucking god playing GTO was the worst thing that happened to my poker carrier ever. I lost almost all my bankroll, mentally I lost my confidence in my poker skills. On the bright side such shock treatment did improved my game and midset by a lot, becouse now I know for sure that playing GTO is bad and I do not consider playing it( earlier I had some doubts if I should play it more). I play more exploitive than ever, exploiting player pool weaknesses and before I was worried that I become exploitable doing that and was trying to mitigate it. Now I understand that ok maybe I am exploitable in that spots and maybe there are players that play strategy that is winning against me in that spots. BUT as long as my strategy is working against player pool - I'm good and I will make money playing that way. Big thanks and good luck on the tables and in life in general!

I agree with the video 100% But I did buy the cash course and found it OK But you provide a "range chart" for calling, folding, vs 3 bets , 4 bets etc What the course doesn't explain is that these calls should be totally different vs different ranges So 8f I open a5s on the button and the sb 3 bets A chart doesn't give a gto fck if the villain has a 3% resteal range or a 27% resteal range And the course doesn't go down this rabbit hole So what you have is alot of regs playing off charts and not understanding why they can't beat the games I love it Keep it up You understand this but your 2 coaches on the cash game course do not mention it

Hey Ben, I'm Ben too! lol. What you said about ppl teaching GTO is so true, but the same could be said for people learning it. People are lazy and want simple vacuum solutions. It's like how we are taught in school. Exploitative is a much more difficult strategy to learn and implement, as the output solutions deviate so much on exploitable tendencies. GTO outputs are only as good as the inputs, but people want textbook robotic solutions that don't require thinking, and can be applied as a vacuum to the total population. It's great that you sell what you believe in, and I can tell you truly want to help others. Much respect.

@@RaiseYourEdge Is this a joke? If you study GTO exploitative play will get very straight forward since you will know which part of the range to attack (in maybe specific situations) since you are already accustomed to think of an action as an action of a distribution... If you learn GTO you learn exploitative poker except if you learn by memorization in which case you are wasting your time... Ofc vs a fish you don't need to learn exploitative poker from solvers since then you can gain huge EV by observing him closely and for example use the most recent (same session) history of you vs him to outplay him hard, "you feel him out" (and this is UNTEACHABLE).

Playing exploitative is the difference between long run and in the end ABC predictive mediocre schoolbook players and real poker players. You can't learn that hopefully. Of course you need to learn GTO to defeat your ennemy but somehow everybody can learn how to play GTO and very few people have ressources to understand and to play properly exploitative poker.

@@Pokermokus Clueless take. "No one can beat a software", All of GTO ranges are based on your opponent playing a perfect gto strategy across all streets. Even if you node lock every spot you are still just guessing his range. GTO is just a tool and the people that use it as the only way to play and try to memorize what to do are missing the entire point, wasting time, and leaving tons of money on the table. It seems to be a confidence thing. GTO nerds mostly just want to justify their awful play using predefined ranges that are laughably unrealistic.
