Playing Q10 that way is something I'd only do in live poker with a good read on the opponents play. I can't speak for you and your experience, but I wouldn't have made the play on the river.

@@edmundfredmund Very stripped of Ax hands preflop at 20bb deep. Almost all of my Ax offsuit hands are jamming pre, stronger Ax suited ones too. Leaves me with a few in the suited category to get to the flop with. On boards where our preflop play is gonna remove a lot of the Ax my opponent is going to barrel A high boards quite relentlessly due to my lack of top pair. Theory is likely calling QTo at a pretty high frequency. Perry is a good player and will easily find enough triple barrel bluffs on this runout. As mentioned in game the Ts isnt actually blocking many of the bluffs on the turn since hands like T9s KTs with the flush draw will actually prefer to check back and take a free card so this combo in particular actually unblocks hands are opponent is likely to bluff with. River is close but prefer having QT than Q8/Q9 as opponents blufffs are likely to come from the 8x/9x portion of their range. Q3/Q2 might be slightly better calls as we unblock bluffs entirely but EV difference would be minimal. Wouldn't change my action if given the chance, versus some players we can fold as they'll be underbluffing but Perry isn't one of those players.

And assuming QJ, QK would also be in pre flop, so QT is quite high up in your range considering you have almost no aces ? Would love to apply this kind of logic in the weekly £50 live tourneys I play but feel like it is an ace almost always there as small stakes play much differently. Congrats on your Brighton score - that was my local casino, shame I didn't make it down to see the event!

I swear there is something up with the RNG at PS and or others , but PS esp . The sear number of times the cards play out in the most dirtiest of ways to ensure churn , ie that people lose the max esp right on the hourly break , those are dooooozies , you bust and have enough time to rebuy , by funding account . Im not saying PS are a crocked as a house democrat , but there has to be a mechisim by which the cards are shuffled by a third party then sent to both PS and a governing body , then the cards need to be cut by the players at the table , ie burn x cards from top of deck , so that no collusion can take place or possibly better still the governing org cuts the deck
