I think Winnie C deserves to be a little higher. The drop off damage from compact ammo is abysmal but it’s a lot more forgiving to fish for headshots with 15 rounds in the barrel, high fire rate, and the large amounts of compact ammo you’re provided. With levering you are absolutely lethal at close ranges if you know when and how to use it. I love to bring a silenced nagant with it for stealth and more ammo, and it feels like a very well rounded loadout that struggles at range but can still go up against other long range rifles in a pinch. Easily B tier for me.

Berthier is the only magazine riffle that is abble to use 2 types of ammo. So effectively you can run standart ammo and spitzer/fire and utilize both speical and red boxes for ammo (or get x2 ammo from special if you run spitzed+fire ammo) its have less ammo by desighn because it can replenish through game much more. Ammo box would give x2 ammo this way too by the way, so you getx2 ammo from one your box

S tier: Mosin and Lebel are no brainers, but I don't think the Drilling quite deserves to be up there with them. Sure it's a 2-tap monster, but it still feels awkward to use (and I personally cannot *stand* the reload). If anything, I think the Krag or even Centennial (with HV ammo) deserve it a bit more. A tier: Agree with Vertelli, which is always an extremely solid choice, and can at least accept that Krag and Centennial could be argued into this spot. I've run into so many Centennials with HV ammo recently that maybe I'm just feeling a little biased haha. B tier: Makes sense that all the single shot rifles sit here lol. All very decent guns but, by design, they won't ever be able to surpass semi-automatic weapons (unless you give them insane stats like 1000m/s velocity or something haha). C tier: I think you're being waaaay too harsh on the Berthier and I feel that it belongs in A tier. Maybe low A tier, but it's still a fantastic rifle especially with Spitzer rounds. It has a fast reload, solid damage, and as long as you treat it like a miniature Mosin (aka don't reload until empty) then you can easily work around the silly reload downsides. D tier: I have no feelings about the Winfield lmao F tier: Once again, no feelings about the Winfield, but I also think you're being a little bit too harsh on the Nitro. It has total ass aperture sights by design - otherwise I think it would be too strong. Nonetheless, in the right hands I feel like it's a damn strong gun that is deserving of B tier or even low A tier.

Personally I have never found the Drilling to be cluky or akward to use, quite to opposite in fact. It`s like you say a "2-tap monster" but it also has a great built-in almost Romero style shotgun which is very strong and saved my ass so many times in qcq. The only real downside to the drilling IMO is that it is pretty overpriced seeing as it`s more expensive than a Mosin.

for me tierlist videos only really work by placing the candidates into the tiers one after another instead of listing the ranking right at the start. The tension of where a certain item might end up is very important in my opinion. Just a thought.

I completely agree with what you said about the Berthier, its only bonus over the Moisin and Label is that you can get a Deadeye and Marksman variant, where as the Moisin only comes as a sniper variant and the label comes with an Aperture or Marksman. I personally think that a Deadeye scope has the most utility.

The Winfields should be higher (a or b tier) . They are excellent within compound ranges. With 2 or 3 taps, plus high rate of fire, aim punch and headshot danger make vor decent suppression. They are strongest either within team fights or when getting a drop. Of course levering increases their utility but iron eye for the most part is enough. The c variant has no sway and is one of my favs the non c variants are equally as good though I feel I already fucked up when I need the extra ammo. The long amo repeating rifles are great but I feel they have a higher skill floor to be effective. You need snappy aim and very good movement to be decent as you might get pushed before you cycle the second round. The Winnies don't have that recuirement, when an enemy pushes you can outspam them and when you are in an even fight with a bolt action you are able to put them down before they fire their second shot. Be aware though that this is true for compound fights. As at some point in this game you have to get the bounty.

tbh going off what you said there are plenty of better options to choose from that deal way more damage and are a lot better still in close range as well as long range g, thats why i gave them such a low rank! i understand where your coming from but if your accurate & a decent player the winnie has no chance. again nothing against it i just think there are better options to choose from :) appreciate you taking the time out to comment

My suggestion: Swap B and C Tier. The Berthier has triple the Ammo per clip than any of the three one shot rifles, good damage, super fast repeatikg, the reload takes only marginally longer than the repeating. It might also be that the lebel takes longer to fire 10 shots than the berthier despite having to reload more often.

if the berthier had a bigger mag and it didnt eject all the rounds on a partial reload i would totally have it in A tier g cause its a really good rifle i just cant use it when theres better options like the lebel or mosin ayy

Yes, but now and then you need some change ;-) Initially I disliked the berthier because of the small mag, but it grow on me. All in all, I agree that the Mosin and Lebel are better rifles

Very good content, but i would bump Winnies and Berthier. IF you take traits and cost into consideration at least... Winnies are ultra cheap and versatile at close to mid range with levering. That trait save me a lot into compounds and against melee rushers. Maybe 😊B tier for me. Berthier with bullet grubber solves partially their biggest problem. You still have a low clip, but at least you can reload more often when its safe or even swap ammo if its part of your strategy. Without bullet grubber i agree. Its expensive, low ammo, cant reload often and isnt cheap. Swapping ammo without the trait is also problematic.

I think the winnies deserve a solid b tier since they are not meant for bodyshots, but for headshots. They get high velocity ammo and have (IMO) very good iron sights. That along with the 151 meter headshot range makes the winny a headshot machine in the right hands. The sparks is to opposite of the winny in many ways, it is designed for body shots more than the winny. It`s great in long fights when enemies have lost hp bars and is really a sniper without the scope (we talking base variant.) I really like the video but I`d say that the Sparks should be A tier and the Winny should be B tier

Here is what most people don't get about the Berthier: It has the option to take two ammo types. I f you use the deadeye variant you can snipe people with spitzer and then when thery get closer you can oneshot them with normal long ammo because you already killed them once.

Lets not forget in comparison to other rifles damage the springy even though is medium ammo hits like a long rifle dealing over 130 damage for a medium ammo type. With high velocity ammo its deadly accurate and my go to head banger.

The berthiers rate of fire and cycle time with reloading is faster than your long ammo S tier rifles. The reload is a weird thing and the real rifle counter part is 5 rounds which make me question why 3 (to do multiple round options). I think you are under tiering this fast shooting versatile hard hitting rifle. I think velocity needs to be bumped a little and spitzer rounds shouldnt knock the damage down to small ammo damage. 110 for spitzer damage is dumb it should knock at most 10 damage off instead of 20.

nitro is easily one of if not the best rifles without a ranged scope on it if you have shredder ammo in it. The winnie with high volocity and good aim with the recent effective range buff is nasty. teir list rating: 3/10

your reasoning for ranking the breach loaders low is the same reason i dislike the bolt actions. even if they technically have a magazine, the cycle time of pulling back the bolt limits you for follow up shots or in case of getting caught in cqc. in almost every situation, i'd either like a winny with levering or i'd like a sparks, the lebel and moist nugget feel like an awkward middle ground imo.
