At 44:29, you could've grabbed the Harvester of Misery, which is a 5/4 with menace, play Bitter Reunion, give haste to the Harvester and attack for the win!

Should have used that last cruelty to grab Carnosaur. Hope for a Coiling Rebirth, double res a Viper, play Bitter Reunion and sac for haste, 6 Viper triggers means they have to discard 3 and sac all non-lond permanents except Atraxa. You lose Carnosaur on Atraxa block, they go to 10, then you hit for 7 from Vipers, leaving them at 3. Then their turn and they have to topdeck the win. But it all depends on if you hit that Coiling Rebirth and not a Liliana/Bitter Reunion.

I really enjoyed that. That deck looks fun and pretty brutal..but for dropping fatties I think the green/red smugglers surprise still might be the way to go.

the whole time you were looking through the cruelty of gix options in your opponents yard for a way out i kept thinking that one black card looks a little out of place, wondering what that harvester card does.

I also run this deck! But instead of running stuff like the bat, I run Cruelclaw and Bitter Triumph as removal just to dump stuff in the bin. The top end creatures for me are Vein Ripper, Phyrexian Fleshgorger, and the Carnosaur.

Second opponent was probably trying to get a cast color quest done both helix's would have got them 2 or 4 towards their quest, they didn't seem to be a bitter type all game

I went against this deck (or one similar) yesterday with an abzan splash deck I made, I kept exiling everything they kept putting into their graveyard with scrap gorger so they couldn't reanimate anything 😂

@@wafflebroz it's my absolute favorite card, you can have some pretty tame humble decks with it or completely absurd 200 creatures on the field, it's such a versatile amazing card and the reason I'll probably be playing historic eventually, when it leaves standard so do I lol
