Hey I love the videos. Curious if you will ever do more focused forecasts focusing on singular states. Obviously doing posts for each state would be almost impossible alone, I think if you approached it by focusing on states that are relevant in weather patterns like extreme weather and how it will affect a state on a smaller scale rather the whole region. I’m from Minnesota and we get some extreme weather so it would be nice to see what a storm or system will do to localities throughout the state because it can very drastically for example southern MN plains vs northern MN and the lakes region of eastern MN

I live in Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, we haven't had more then a dusting of snow in about 3 years, so the El Nino / La Nina doesn't seem to matter at all anymore

If youre talking about the El Niño to La Niña comparison, we are going into a La Niña winter, which technically promotes around to just below average temperatures in New York, with above average precipitation. Showing El Niño is showing the general weather pattern we had last winter. The CPC outlooks are what the CPC expects this winter for temps/precip.

I lived in Canton, near Potsdam. It will be warmer AND colder, wetter AND drier. It's all relative to your location. Try sticking your head out the kitchen window. 🐸

If we go into a total La Nina phase, it's not going to last long at all before El Nino returns in late January or early February and it's going to be another Super El Nino and very possibly stronger than this current El Nino

Still no snow in Colorado at 5,280 feet. It’s cold and dry. Only the mountains around me getting snow. This is rare for us. Never happens that we don’t get snow. We always get snow way before this. We have not seen snow yet this year.

I live where it can snow one day and melt the next 🤷 the biggest snow events seem to hit the last week of January through the first week of February. I despise cold weather, but I’d be lost without it in the seasons, hardly ever get just snow anymore, last night we got about an inch or so but not enough to constitute breaking out the snow shovel. I guess when I think ‘snow day’ I think where I can measure in inch’s instead of millimeters 🫤.

Noooooo! La Niña is not good for me. That means small waves during the winter in SoCal. I work my a off during the year in Western NC and then take winter off and go back to CA to surf for 3 months during winter. El Niño winters are great for surfing, La Niña not so much
