May be they did not show the vendors with the exact same connotation they carry in the real world. However, the fact still remains that people DO bargain with poor vendors. But never question prices in high end places, that sell services for exorbitant rates. The idea is to spread awareness to avoid doing that.

I hope it make sence for you. So in the film it would be better if the girl begged for roses to his huisband. It Just an opinion. The film and the acting was great.
