Making Pizza at home?
This recipe and DIY pizza oven building is dedicated to everyone to warm our hearts๐
For a long time I tried to bake a Neapolitan pizza properly, so that the crust comes out crispy and baked like in Naples pizzerias.
I tried to bake in my home oven and it turned out nice, but still not the result I was aiming for. I was debating about buying a pizza oven, but it did not suit me to spend a large sum of money, and most of all I wanted there to be a live fire in the oven that would caress the pizza.
I researched around the internet about building the simplest and easiest oven to build and operate and found this recipe:
Slatted stones are arranged in an open square shape with two plates of sloping stones on which the pizza is placed and the other closes from above and traps the heat. There are some very important principles for a Neapolitan pizza to come out properly.
One of the most important details is a high heat of 450 degrees C !!
The pizza I made came out of the oven in 2.5 minutes !!!!! So that means the oven has reached the appropriate heat.
I am very happy with this oven .. I built it for the first time without knowing if it will succeed on the first try.
I felt great happiness when the pizza came out in such a short time, for me it is an achievement .
