I love the childish way of saying "Then Lord what will I do?", I love this because this express the inability and dependency of the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as I'm completely unable to help myself, I cry out to the Lord and expect everything from Him. And He, wonderful as He is, Comes to the rescue of his incapable, weak, little child. So much good emotions come from this hymn, but this is not exactly important, it is the message, It is the reality of this divine truth that God Is My Father.

I miss these old hymns. I came to Christ back in August 1977. We’d sing these at the Church of Christ. I’m with Calvary Chapel and I love the teaching. I just wish we’d sing the hymns instead of contemporary music. Odd for me to say, since I’m a classic rock drummer.

A beautiful song; and praise God for those blessed few Christians who actually DO feel this way (because they are truly living for Jesus, and in God's way, and not for themselves and in the world's way). The Christian with the mind of Christ and sold out to Jesus CAN'T love it down here, and can't wait to leave it. As for the rest of you---God knows the heart and weighs actions as well as words, and singing a lie to God is no more pleasing or acceptable to Him than telling one. (You'd be better off not singing unless and until what you're singing is true of YOU.)

although the years i always found myself unfit to the world and i always feel very weird and strange about myself and feel alienated a foriegner . After soon when i took time to do research on God's words, yes indeed i don't belong on earth forever , i one day will be forever as a child of God in heaven, earth is temporarily place for God battlefield with devil, and that's why earth has both side when come to spiritual world. And i am one of the choosen one that had been called out to be save from this evil current earth, because we are the weak one and God want to restore backup the weak one so one day the devil will see how strong God is love of what He had created He cares about it it was His responsibility.
