You don’t have to like someone to admit they did something cool, or good, or right. But the fact that you CAN acknowledge that about someone you dislike shows that you’re a reasonable person that can work together with others of a different mindset. It also makes me much more willing to accept that person’s criticism. After all, if you don’t like someone, and won’t even acknowledge when they do something right - why should your criticism be taken seriously? All it does is show that you’ll never be satisfied no matter what this person does. This a problem we see all the time in politics. Example: Democrats for Trump, and Republicans for AOC. The thing about this whole situation that was so strange about it this all to me is that Ethan and lex have been on hush mode and tried to snake out Nick (who also deserves it) but literally no one has been talking about the actual guy who the allegations are against, they just accused him of sa and then turned their sights onto super mega. AND EVEN THEN, the guys social life is essentially ruined over an allegation that has borderline no backing aside from “I said so one time” obviously, I don’t know 100% if the guy is guilty or not, literally no one does because it’s insanely clear that the only reason these allegations came to light is to become a hit piece against super mega, regardless of if they’re true or not

I used to like Ethan and and Nick because their content was just mildly entertaining commentary content to have on in the background while I was getting stuff done. I related to them as they're both two awkward kind of funny/alt looking dudes who seemed to have random interests and moderately interesting ideas about those interests. Then I started paying more attention, noticing them targeting people and generally being whiner baby assholes always resorting to ad hominems and accusing people things with little to no proof. And now a bunch of people are coming out with videos exposing them and I was like, "Oh. The weird feeling I had regarding their content and general offness makes a lot more sense now. Smh.

I've never voted right-wing, though, so 🤷‍♂️ As long as it doesn't harm me or my family, I don't care what people do in their own home. That does stretch to the workplace and schools, dont harm the children. And I do think education/topic should be age appropriate. I don't care what people want to do to their body, just leave me out of it. That's their choice. I don't care what people want me to say, leave me out of it, that's my choice. But I wouldn't call myself a Democrat as I live in New Zealand, and even our right wing party is more left in a lot of areas than the Democratic Party of the USA. My understanding of the American political system is extremely limited, but I can say with some confidence that I would probably have voted independently in the last few elections, if at all.
