There is ZERO CRITICISM that should be commented on this video. That’s PURE SKILL!!!! Amazing riding 🤟🤟
@HermCore2 жыл бұрын
Can we all just take a sec & thank James Stewart for giving us the scrub. It's one of the most beautiful & effective riding techniques ever devised...& u know what else is crazy, this dude is absolutely flying! Hes friggin shredding! & yet the top pros could go even faster!! That's just insane to think about! This sport has progressed SO MUCH in the past couple decade's. Great vid!
@snowrider44952 жыл бұрын
What are you talking about junior? Danny Magoo, many others and the Europeans used the scrub in the 70's. LOL kids think they know it all!
@HermCore2 жыл бұрын
@@snowrider4495 are u serious? U honestly think they were doing anything close to what Stewart, & what every pro rider now is doing??? Suuuure...Magoo was doing it so well, that 0 other riders copied his riding style! Thanks for pointing that out...BTW, nobody cares that u know the names of couple riders from the '70's, who def were NOT scrubbing speed to reduce time spent in the air like Stewart was. No matter how hard u wanna believe it. We get it though, Ur the most hard-core, couch-burning, beer drinking, MX fan who's ever lived!!
@snowrider44952 жыл бұрын
@@HermCore lol, junior! you must be a genius. People have been scrubbing since the 70's up until now!!! It's a typical move for top pros and it always has been. Junior, your ignorant if you think Stewart made it up!!! Do some research before you say something stupid like that!!!
@cougar2310002 жыл бұрын
Well Stewart took It to the next level in his years, but he didn't t invent It!
@HermCore2 жыл бұрын
@@snowrider4495 never once, did I say he "made up" anything. He brought us the scrub, done properly, & for the specific purpose of going faster by staying lower in the air, to the ENTIRE SPORT! That's what I said. I never said it wasn't done b4 him. I think ur reading what u want to read. In fact, I DID know people had done variations of what we know now as a "scrub". But NEVER like Stewart did it, or like every other pro is doing it now. So, now that I cleared that up for u, what is the point ur trying to make here?? That Stewart DIDN'T influence the ENTIRE sport of MX with his "variation" of the scrub unlike the riders who were kinda doing it b4 him, Is that what ur saying? Or are u saying those riders in the '70's who were scrubbing raised the level of their riding ability to the point where everyone else HAD to change their style just to keep up? See, u just made a stupid, bench racer assumption simply based on the fact that u want everyone to know how long uv been into the sport Instead of just thinking to urself, "U know what, yea, Stewart really DID change the sport of MX by raising the level of skill to a level thay effected the whole field. Granted, a few guys in the '70's were sorta doing it, but Magoo certainly didnt impact the sport like Stewart did!"...Nope. U'd rather start an argument by continuing to make even dumber comments, just to hold onto ur, "I've been into MX since the '70's. I've seen it all" ego...just give it up dude. U won't be able to name a rider that the scrub is connected to more than Stewart. Not for nothin, but if ur gonna compare scrubs from different eras, then u have to compare the tracks & equipment too. Stewart's scrub changed the sport cuz he applied it to tracks & equipment vastly different & more difficult than those who came b4 him. Scrubbing over rollers in the '70's didn't mean much cuz it wasn't saving that much time. Fast forward to Stewart, who SCRUBBED the SHIT outa much larger jumps & faster bikes, & now u have a guy who CHANGED THE SPORT. The credit goes to Stewart, not Magoo or whoever else ur talking about. Sry, it's just reality.
