4:25 this is a theory but i've seen it mentioned before on reddit and i think it has a lot of merit. hakari's cursed energy has a 'rough' edge to it because he's a 'shark,' specifically a gambling shark. sharks in poker act like they're losing or are inexperienced at first, but then they kick it into high gear last minute and take the win with overwhelming skill. looking at his fights with charles and kashimo this is pretty accurate for his personality and would reflect onto his cursed energy trait

Yup. This is likely the best video out there to explain jjk in terms of accuracy. Maki had very little cursed energy(its kinda common for that type of HR) even less than that of normal humans. She was supposed to have completely zero like Toji but since she had a twin, the HR treated them like one person. Hence their weakness. Thats why she awakened after her loss. Great video man. Also you forgot about domain amplification that allows to nullify cursed tecniques and domains but you can't use your own cursed tecnique And cursed tecnique amplification that essentially increases the area of effect of a tecnique And the opposite of reversal cursed tecnique Lapse is meant to increase the effect of the tecnique for example blue is the lapse of infinity making the tecnique stronger to such a degreee that attracts the opponent instead of blocking him like the normal infinity does

The section on cursed technique reversal is incorrect, it doesn’t use reverse cursed energy because it was stated that not even Gojo can output reverse cursed energy, yet we see him use cursed technique reversal. Despite the names, they don’t both use positive energy. To clear up confusion. cursed technique reversal and reverse cursed technique are not related in any way, cursed technique reversal needs more cursed energy to use than a regular cursed technique but it still only uses regular negative cursed energy. The only characters we have seen who can actually output positive cursed energy is Shoko Yuta and Sukuna, and neither of these characters have ever used a cursed technique reversal, so it’s not the same thing. They should change reverse cursed technique to inverse cursed technique because it is more accurate and would clear up confusion.

It has never been stated and it also just makes sense because if it did use positive energy it would have killed the shit out of Jogo. a reversal of a technique is basically only seen by gojo and kenjaku, we haven't seen any other examples to my knowledge, positive energy can be emitted and is effective against cursed spirits, yuta and shoko prove this by healing people with it. The reversal of a technique is like turning a spring to face a different way, its the same spring but the effect is opposite, this is what changes blue to red (pull -> push) and anti gravity -> gravity enhance. but it is the same technique which has nothing to do with positive energy, just the application of the reverse of the technique. this is usually learned alongside rct, so its similar in theory but all curse techniques require negative energy, whether its the reversal of a technique or not. if this wasnt the case a red would heal someone

Actually there are three sorcerers who can use cursed energy attributes, Hakari , Kashimo, and Uraume. Uraume's cursed energy attribute is that her cursed energy feels like ice (as stated in ch 245 in Fakeweeb's vid )

I mean that is a attribute, but not a "physical" one. It's more of a feeling, like how Yuta curse energy is described as more creepy than Gojo's. Every one has their own curse energy signatures (maybe minus identical twins), but the effects of the tracts are the focus. If Urahame's curse energy doesn't freeze you naturally then that's just a feeling not really affect. That's my 2 cent at least.

Isn’t every technique technically inherited? A technique can skip several generations before ever showing itself I think. So someone like Geto, whose parents aren’t even sorcerers, would likely have had an ancestor (no matter how long ago) who had his technique. Then again, it also makes sense that some techniques are just complete mutations, and are entirely new to whatever sorcerer gets them.

Revealing one’s hand works on everything jujutsu related. For every ct, even heavenly pacts like toji works, we see geto saying to toji stop talking cuz he doenst want to hear it anymore to prevent toji from getting stronger. Only exceptions are a ct like naobito’s projection sorcery cuz the way it works it actually benefits the opponent not knowing how it works, so projection sorcery users like naobito would rather opponents not know how it works.

I would argue yuji has a cursed energy trait as he has divergent fist where his cursed energy lags, also I'm pretty sure cursed energy traits have different appearances and if you look closely yuji tends to have a more blue colour compared to other sorcerers like nanami, todo, megumi, etc with the standard cyan/turquoise colour. I'm aware his cursed energy was red in episode 4 the first time he uses cursed energy but that could of been influenced by the fact sukuna was slowly taking control of him, theres obviously nothing saying sukuna has red cursed energy or an attribute but it is just a small observation i made.

Divergent first isnt a ce trait it’s just the result of yuji having bad ce manipulation at the time. Gojo was teaching him to properly use ce reinforcement to enhance his punches and that led to divergent first cuz he was still learning how to do it so the ce lags a bit so that’s why there’s 2 hits. Once he learnt black flash and got proper skill he stopped using it except that one time against mahito where he did it on purpose just to throw him off

How is it possible for sorcerers in JJK to have cursed energy reserves or pools like ninja have chakra reserves in Naruto? Cursed energy is created by negative emotions correct? Therefore all a sorcerer needs to do to avoid using their reserves is to just make more cursed energy by gaining control of their emotions, and by using their newly created energy instead. They would never deplete their reserves then. It also doesn’t make sense because it would mean that sorcerers would have to feel negative emotions to create energy to fill up their own reserves; it wouldn’t make sense for these reserves of energy to just exist. It makes much more sense for sorcerers to have to create energy to perform techniques, and for the soul to have a certain amount of endurance; the soul can only create a certain amount of energy before needing to rest, and this endurance can be raised through training.

Since it was recently comfirmed that he is related to sukuna, i think his ct is black box, yes the sukuna used against jogo, since sukuna can use the ct of the vessel (confirmed w megumi) i think black box is a cursed technique that yuji inherited from his ancestors, the only thing that "debunked" this in the past is because yuji never used a cursed technique so sukuna wouldnt be able to use or know abt it in shibuya, but if it was a ct from the past and sukuna's family that would explain sukuna knowing how to use it
