5:14 There was no "Muscovy". There was the Grand Duchy of Moscow. There was a Russian Kingdom. And the Russian Empire was. BUT THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A MUSCOVY. This word appeared and spread solely due to the influence of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in order to challenge the tsar's claims to all the lands of Russia.

@@one.girl...1 So much pride. Ukraine didn't fought for anything, it was cared for by the leadership of Moscow, and that's why it could even exist today. If only they wanted you to be gone, they would've achieved that easily. But they never were like you portray them. It was the westerners who always did similar things, on a much worse scale. And you blame the entire nationality for something you made up. Your intentions are clear as day, you are the one who seeks opportunity to cause damage. The reason why those cultures aren't widespread now, is because nobody like you is a prideful nationalist, it's much easier to speak the language which more people speak, and depend on the economy of a larger country that actually cares for you. They never asked you to make a decision for them. There are such cultures in so many countries, including the United States, and that's also why people overall keep talking in English. In Russia, those cultures can even study their own language in schools! Why did Ukraine ban so many languages? It is the most prideful nationalistic country that doesn't respect what was given to it, or even it's own citizens who want neutrality and preservation of history. It blames others for aggression, but is the only one who speaks out of clear hate.

The correct translation is actually Ivan the Awesome. Ivan never killed his son. There is a famous painting of his son bleeding in his arms but that painting is only of Ivan hitting his son. There is no evidence that the Tsar killed his own son. No one knows how he died. Also Ivan the Awesome was so awesome that he gave up his crown and went to a monastery but the court of Moscow went to him and BEGGED him to be Tsar again, if he was truly terrible I’m sure they wouldn’t have made the journey to beg him back as their overlord. In Ivan the “terrible”s reign, he only executed 3,000 people to death, in which timeline in France that many people were executed to death in a single day. In his own time he was truly a remarkable person and Tsar. History will not remember him kindly whatsoever. He took Siberia and made Russias prestige touch the sky

Well.. RealLifeLore made a video explains that due to global Warming it is going to warm the other 3/4 of Russia which will give Russia accept to a GODLY amount of MANY natural resources that has gone virtually untouch throughout Russian history AND will give them the ability to farm ALL of that land. Reallifelore has stated this will make Russia IMMEASURABLY WEALTHY which will then make Russia a very wealthy superpower again. Those benefits are only the tip of the iceberg. Reallifelore explains all the ways Russia will benefit from this so I highly suggest you give it a watch.

RealLifeLore has made a VERY interesting video about Russia. He explains how there is a certain area of the earth that wraps around Earth like a giant band. Within this "band" is what is called the "Perfect Production Zone" where the climate within this band is so ideal in terms of things like temperature it makes makes it the best place in the world to grow agriculture. Now.. perfectly situation with this band sits America which explains a lot lol. Unfortunately for Russia only 1/4 of their country is within this band which is western Russia. Scientists have realized that due to global warming this band is going to drift north and which means that Canada and the MOST of Russia are going to be the ones within this band of "Perfect Production". This isn't just good news for Russia.. this will be a MIRACLE to Russia. Now I'll explains why this is such an amazing miracle for Russia. Currently 75% of Russia is a frozen Tundra and befause of this it.makes almost impossible for Russia to take advantage of this large area. When this band eventually arrives over most of Russia it will heat up giving them a GODLY amount of land to grow immeasurable amounts of agriculture. Now I'll touch on the topic of natural resources. When Russia eventually gets to take advantage of the land they also FINALLY get to take advantage of it natural resources. This massive area of Russia is thought to contain unbelievable amounts of natural resources which obviously make them EXTREMELY wealthy.untouched. There is also a GODLY amount oil they will be able to collect. And mind you...Russia ALREADY is one of the biggest suppliers of oil and that already the biggest supplier of oil to the rest of Europe. Now, the military benefits to Russia. For most of Russia history their biggest handicap military has been a huge lack of to the seas for their Navy. This was because the only access they have to the Mediterranean is the black sea in the south of Russia BUT Ukraine take up nearly ALL of the black seas coastline leaving Russia with a small sliver. Not only that but In order for their Navy to reach the Mediterranean they first have to go the black sea and must pass through a tight bottleneck that cute through turkey which if one day becomes an enemy Turkey will shut the choke.poimt which denies Russia access to Mediterranean. What about it's northern coast. Russia actually has the largest coastline of any country in the world.. Unfortunately for Russia their north coastline is in the Arctic which leaves most of this coastline frozen for a long period of the year. When this coastline region heats up the ice will melt and not only do they now have an entire coastline and waters for their Navy to utilize, which means Russia will dominate the Arctic which concerns America, but they will then have pretty much full access to trade routes for Russia and china to utilize trade which makes it a MUCH shorter route to and from Russia or China. Within warmer waters on their northern massive coastline means they can take advantage of fishing.f All of this will mean that Russia will become a INSANELY WEALTHY country and will again make it massive super power. And with the "Perfect Production Zone" band drifting to north to Canada leaving America this will have to have a negative affect on America.

Yes, before the Soviet Union collapsed, they had never been independent. However, they blame Russia for invasion and occupation. Historically, they were treated as territories by other powerful countries and were exchanged from one power to another with no consideration for their people. This is one of the reasons for their current poverty. They do not know how to rule a country. They had an opportunity to prosper for the first time in their independent existence, but they squandered it-and now they blame Russia for their failures. During the Soviet era, Russia invested in the economic and cultural development of the republics. It carried out excavations and restoration of national historical monuments of architecture and cultural heritage. Russia supported the linguistic and religious identity of each republic within the Soviet Union. All the historical monuments they take pride in today were preserved thanks to Russia's efforts. However, they squandered the legacy inherited from the Soviet Union and now vilify Russia. Russia was never their enemy-they artificially created the image of Russia as an enemy.

Who actually can tell what happened to Romanovs, if no one saw it, except written in txtbooks. And history are written by victors. Romanovs basically sold Russia, just like Gorbachev and Elcin sold USSR, that way Russia became smaller and smaller, and then Putin came along, and now West hate him, because he isn't selling Russia. 02:43 The Scandinavians in Russia were *NOT* called Rus, but Varangians. And the Varangians did not found the cities of Novgorod, Kiev, or Staraya Ladoga. The Scandinavian name for Rus was "Garðar" or "Garðariki", which means "kingdom of cities" or "of fortresses", and this indicates that when the Scandinavians came to Rus there were already many cities.

Kiev existence before moscovy doesn't justify falsification of history. Kyiv was known as kievian Rus, and there was nothing like a Ukrainian national identity. Kievian Rus was founded and ruled by the Rurikid, whose descendants later became Tsars in Russia empire. There was nothing like Ukraine nor Ukranian national identity until around 1919. When did it stop being vikings? Can anyone answer that question for me, please? Because it seems like these people were still vikings. And they're still doing the same thing that hunted years ago I guess really

They stopped being vikings in year 1019 when yaroslav had become fully bond to the Eastern Slavic traditions and language. He did nor speak norse and started speaking old east slavic. The viking age also ended only 13 years after Yaroslavs birth.
@normanism
@normanism Ай бұрын
*When did it stop being vikings* There is no clear border-line. We can track that Olga (Helga) and Igor (Ingvar), who were born already in Eastern Europe, called their son Sviatoslav. Lots of vikings should have died in the unsuccessful wars in Byzantium and Bulgary. Sviatoslav had a son Vladimir from a Slavic woman Malusha. Growing up with his uncle Dobrynia, Vladimir apparently had more Slavic mentality rather than Scandinavian. The archeologic excavations show that while building the wall for a new town in Vladimir's time, they demolished the old viking graves so apparently Vladimir did not relate himself with Scandinavian ancestors. During the Vladimir's son Yaroslav the relationship with Scandinavia was still strong. He married a Swedish princess Ingegerda (Russian name Irina) and his daughter married a Norwegian prince Harald Hardrada. But since the Viking age had come to end the relationships with Norway also stopped and Sweden became a permanent enemy competing for the areas in Finland.

I have a crazy question. Can you redo this again? But don't change their names. Keep the names of the tribes that they were once. You get on saying like that would be interesting to know what tribe they belong to. Were they still vikings, or they no? Longer vikings and something else. Entirely, and who were they taking over when they went into Lithia? Poland Prussia, Austria were that still not Viking country land when did The Vikings end? Do you get what I'm trying to ask? History documentaries often explore the vast and complex history of Russia, from the formation of Kievan Rus' in the 9th century to the rise of Moscow as a powerful state. Key events include the Mongol invasion, the establishment of the Tsardom of Russia under Ivan the Terrible, and the expansive reigns of Peter the Great and Catherine the Great. The Russian Revolution of 1917, which led to the fall of the Romanovs and the creation of the Soviet Union, and the country's role in World War II are frequent focal points. The collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 and modern Russia’s resurgence under leaders like Vladimir Putin also draw significant attention in historical documentaries, illustrating the nation’s complex legacy.

I understand this is what people did a long time ago, but we have already expanded to the four corners of the Earth. Instead of fighting border wars or risking Civil War, I think it’s important for nations and countries to band together and build Cylinders in space. Instead of Russia fighting a border war with Ukraine, they could literally revive their space program, propose building a cylinder for a New Russia, and invite Ukraine as a seat to the table. Building a cylinder would require new industries, whether you go to the moon to build an initial ring, or just launch the hardware directly into space from the ground, it will require everyone to work together instead of fighting each other. During World War II, countries were actually able to help their economy by helping to build what they needed. - because of the modern age and the industrial war machine complex, it doesn’t help the economies anymore, and in fact, it depletes them greatly. - What will help any economy is having common purpose. A common goal to build and allow them to expand. - instead of fighting a border war and depleting your country’s treasure, the best thing to do is develop industries for goals needed to Expand Your Country Manually into space, and build a world instead of tearing it down.
