Happy 41st Birthday Mark!! What a perfect way to spend the day. Everyone had a great time. And Everett is looking good swimming. It is 91 degrees in Illinois today so watching everyone in the water cooled me down. Our summer has been pummeled mostly by the smoke from the fires in Canada. Some days it is so bad you can't go outside. So seeing this vlog really made my day.

In one of Lauren's recent videos, she suggested a company, try treats. My first month arrived yesterday with food from Mexico. I ordered the large box. Called my adult son and told him it arrived so he came over to share the box. We had loads of fun! Thanks Lauren for suggesting this idea! I lived in Tacoma Washington as a kid. De lived a couple of streets away from a lake. So many great memories of swimming, fishing and water siiing. It’s so great to see kids that aren’t hooked to video games all day. They. I’ll always remember their childhood if Alaskan adventures. Great job as parents!

omg chizmill jasuke lol, i never try chizmill before, i'll try to find them tomorrow at the nearby convinience store to see if they have it or not. jasuke is definitely a thing here in indonesia, JASUKE is a short for JAgung (corn) SUsu (milk) KEju (cheese), it's like a street food snack made of steamed corn mixed with butter and condense milk, topped with some shredded cheese on top, serves while it hot, it's really easy to make at home. also, i've been really enjoying your family outdoor content lately, such a treat, i'm having fun too watching them 🥰 and btw i've been watching your channel for about a year now, but this is the first time i write a comment hihi, happy birthday mark!!! hello to everybody there! greetings from indonesia!

Life jackets are so important!! Here’s how to make sure they’re tight enough: if you can put your hands under the top shoulder section of the life vest and pick the child up off the ground, it’s properly tight. This is how you would haul a child back into a boat if they fell overboard, so you need to make sure the life jacket wouldn’t slip off. For little bitties with their rounder tummies, the life jackets with the strap that goes around their bottom as well are ideal because life jackets are harder to get tight enough on them.

Very long comment: Yes I’m gabby.. Lauren here is my time saving tricks when cooking or grilling for picnics lake days & camping. A week before our adventures I cook all my meat ahead & FREEZE them. I boil the chicken sausages & brats then grill them to get the outdoor yummy flavor. I do lots of crockpot meats like BBQ pork, french dip sandwiches (I found a recipe that uses ground beef) meatball subs (I buy meatballs already made & fully cooked) you could use your moose meat. Egg roll in a bowl(freezes nicely) Chili too (if using Macaroni add the day you are serving so it doesn’t get mushy). I boil lots of eggs good protein for snacking. For breakfast short cuts I cook & freeze all our ham slices breakfast sausage & turkey bacon & freeze them in what I think we will eat daily. This has been such a time saver for us . Each pkg stays frozen in the cooler until I pull it out that morning. Freeze so each pkg is flat & can fit in the cooler with ziplock standing up. We will be married 43 years August 1st & I learned how to quickly prepare stuff for our trips so I can enjoy my vacation too with our family. Good Morning Hamm Family ❤️ Hey Lauren, could you bottle up that nice weather and ship it my way? It's been hot, muggy and very rainy with more thunderstorms headed our way. I'm about ready to start construction on an ARK ⛈️ Hi Miss Luna. Your secret admirer, Ash, sends lots of kitty hugs 😻 The garden is looking good. I'm so looking forward to starting our garden in the spring... due to the type of garden we're having, it takes time, learning, construction and prep-work. Plus, the end of the year is really busy for us, with upcoming holy-festivals, travel, reunions, etc.; it's especially busy for Mark, not only the above and work, but practicing music on his drums for Praise and Worship during Sukkot... he's the drummer... so that and everything else delays things 👩🏼‍🌾 I was confused at first glance. I thought that was Everett in the car seat (?) and Weston, but just as you did the close-up, I realized it was Charlie and Everett... handsome boys... they are definitely cousins 😍 Rain, rain, go away... no... seriously... you've overstayed your welcome 🙄 Thank you Mark for that flashback to winter... I'm yearning for colder weather ☃️ What a gorgeous day for spending time at the lake. Beautiful mountain and lake views. I absolutely loved time spent on my folks' lake: fishing, swimming, boating, knee-boarding, tubing, skiing - so much fun and beautiful memories were made 🚣🏼‍♀️ Love the "kids don't float" signage, safety warning and loaner vest - a great idea 🛟 Henry is adorable 🥰 Hi Family... happy boating 🚤 You may wanna pin that hat down, Lauren. I've lost many. My Dad made me jump in the lake to retrieve his beloved Marine Corps cap once 🧢 Tubing is fun, especially jumping those wakes. Just don't go airborne - super fun, a little scary and exhilarating - and a reminder that humans can't fly 😬 Bennett's enjoying that paddle board. Warning: in Florida, and yes, including my folks' lake, do not go "into the tall grass". One, you'll scare away the bass, and two, you may come face to face with a Gator. Ours was named Albert. He liked sunning on my folks' dock and their pontoon boat. Seriously messed up my Dad's fishing plans more than once. I accidentally hit Albert between the eyes with a bread ball (while catching shiners). He made a mock charge... you've never seen a pregnant lady run up a hill so fast in your life 🐊 Yes Hunter, please fasten your breeches. LoL. Awesome wake-boarding... look at you one-handing it. I tried that once... just once... managed to stay up for a minute before falling on my face 😵‍💫 Rope swings too... see, this is why I love watching your videos so much. They all, no matter the content, bring back so many memories - mostly wonderful memories, but even the not so wonderful aren't so bad. Thank you for that 😊 You need to invest in a travel grill. Snausages are okay fried, but the grill makes them yummier. Yummy salad Grandma 😋 Ginger "candies" are an acquired taste. I keep dried crystallized ginger around in case of tummy discomfort or indigestion, as well as, ginger tea (with honey). It's not my first choice, but it helps when needed 🫚 Y'all are so much fun. I love tagging along on these adventures with you and your family. It's always bittersweet when it's time to pack up and head home 🏡 Happy early Birthday Blessings, Mark. 41? You're just a baby. I was about to turn 16 (OCT) when you were born. My Mark just turned 59 years young in July. I couldn't help but sing along. Enjoy your hunting trip with the boys and your ice cream...
