My favorite date goodie is to split the date and put in a smidgen of nut butter and a nut, then dip the morsel in chocolate. Put them in the fridge and be ready to have a Delicious Sweet Treat anytime. Can't wait to try the almond bacon. The thought makes my mouth water!

My mom used to make the best date bran muffins using bran cereal! She would soak the cereal in milk, add eggs, flour, baking powder, a little sugar, and chopped dates and they made the best muffins! I make them sometimes too because they’re super easy and tasty and remind me of being a kid and waking up on a Sunday morning to warm muffins.

Good morning Lauren! $4.99 for the chicken was great! Ours run $7.99 @ Food City, or $6.99 @ Walmarts. Both in Galax, Va. Enjoyed seeing the freezers & prices. I will need to re-stock up, & have to replace all my appliances, & home after having suffered intense wind damages out of the South 4/1 totaling my home. The porch roof went 1st, then the front siding, then the back siding, power outage, then the roof went. Don't feel bad for me, I'm okay. Good to see your homegrown potatoes got you & your family through Winter. March, I always added my last years' volunteers in with my new seed potatoes.

Good Afternoon Hamm Family ❤️ It's an overcast, damp 58°F today. The sun is attempting to punch through. Dakota and Ash (cats) are channeling Luna and soaking up what sunlight there is. Maggie (dog) is trying to snuggle up close so she can get a little sunshine too 🌤️ I've never had to use bear spray, thank goodness. We do have a black bear that passes through now and then, but he keeps to himself 🐻 Loving the fluffy rug. I hope it works. Can't wait to see the room makeover 🙂 One of my favorite summer squash and zucchini recipes is to cut into rounds, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder, lightly coat with potato starch and fry in a cast iron pan with butter and olive or avocado oil 😋 One of my favorite potato recipes is Salted Buttery Chive Potatoes. You can double the recipe. Mini potatoes work best, but babies will do. I use a mix of yellow and red minis. I recommend fresh Chinese Chives if you can get them, but regular will do. I also add a little garlic paste. I know it's a lot of salt, but they're delicious. A win with Family and Friends. Worcestershire sauce Haha my favourite sauce in most of my cooking. It is pronounced Woo-Stir sauce. I buy 2 large bottle pack at Costco. Doing fried duck egg this evening and maybe not more than a couple of drops whilst cooking in memorable.

Alway surprised by how cheap you can buy a rotisserie chicken, I pay more than twice that. Such a big change to the scenery once all that ice and snow melts. Spring/Summer must be so welcomed after cold, dark, wet snow land. where as I welcome our autumn and winter 😅😅I like the little entry table , area looks great. okay I leave my cover on the lamp shade ,here's why we live in the dusty desert n shades get dirty so fast this way I can just wipe them off. I bought new shades 7 yrs ago n still holding strong. n no one has notice or if they have no one has said a thing. Lauren I thought of you on my recent trip to Fairbanks to visit my family. That was my first time in their Costco (formerly it was Sams Club). The layout was different than Anchorage and at their fuel station, they had three gas pumps in one line. I’ve seen three in Bonney Lake, WA as well. I wonder if they’re normally three in a line? I wish the Costco on Dimond in Anchorage had that many. Anyhoo, it made me think of you when I was in there:) Wasn’t sure if you had ever been in there or not??

oh I made 8 cups of rice we ate not quite 2 cups so rest I put 1 cup in ziplocks laid flat.n froze,my daughter took one to work put bout spoonful of water n threw in microwave with some leftover chicken n said oh mom it was so yummy so now I make big batch n freeze for quick meals for family or just me when home alone n don't feel like making a meal for just me I'll pull out precooked meat n the bag of rice

I'm not a fan of coconut water either. I've tried drinking it more than once I just can't get into it. 😝🥥💧 But I love eating coconut. My grandmother grew coconuts so I ate quite a bit of it. She made delicious coconut cakes. I have the recipe and have made it. But I miss her making it. 😢 It's been so hot here in Florida. OH OH OH Lauren I heard on the news last week that one of the concourses at Nashville Tennessee BNA airport had to be evacuated cause somebody forgot they had bear spray and it went off. They said it was purty harsh and I bet, lol. Blessings y'all!

Oh no!! That reminds me. My friend’s son was curious in the back of the car and messed with hers from her hiking backpack. She said it was so terrible! I have my own bear spray story now that I think of it… I will need to tell that sometime.
