You might try using your little john deere 770 instead of a wheelbarrow for taking the manure out of the horse barn from what I see I think it might fit in there and I think it is 4-wheel drive. I would try dumping the wheelbarrow into the bucket of the tractor and using the tractor to haul it away.

Hank is such a special horse. He will be Austin’s bestie for a long time. My mare Tara was my special friend too. I had her for 24 years and had to put her down at age 30. I sure miss her such a good listener and no judgement from her. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all

You would probably find that wheelbarrow with the single front wheel a lot easier to maneuver in the mud. God I miss cleaning stalls. Well to not lie, I miss the horses. The stalls I can live without. Merry Christmas and all that.

A nice snack dish thats easy for holidays is room temp cream cheese block on dish and spread pepper jelly red or green then use any type cracker to cut into like dip

Have you considered driving the small tractor with the front loader on it up to the entrance to the stalls. Put the manure in the loader then go dump it in a pile somewhere away from the barn?

If you can find a Frigidaire at a Lowe’s they tend to be more reliable. We’ve had one in our garage for over twenty years and we replaced an old one different brand with a Frigidaire going on three years ago with no issues. The previous refrigerator had an ice maker that had constant problems but this one also has no issues. Haven’t had one with the freezer on the bottom but the over-under and side by side has been reliable.

Great to see LB doing so well at PT. Those preparations for your family gathering looked delicious. For the stall clean out, a ramp that allows you to take the load up and out, then dump it onto a pile would be most helpful I think. Stay safe and well.

I just love how the horses kind of made it so yall do a lot of things together now as a family- not that yall dont do that already but it is special doing together full of joy. I suggest laying down some planks of wood for barrowing out from the horses. It works for me, though I use a single wheel barrow. Yea, room will have to be made for hay bales in the barn. The old girl will have to go. Ye bale really perfect hay during the summer and it’s a pity to have to buy in some. Be careful what ye wish for, we are just out of a big freeze up and are glad, despite the rain. Water pipes froze solid and pipe joints burst. A 2 wheeled Rubbermaid cart works allot better. That way you pull instead of push and they don't tip over. They aren't as easy to empty but they hold more and are easier to handle imo. But they also aren't cheap. But they last a long time and you can even still use them with flat tires 🤣
