To be fair though, had they kept this feature in, people would just abuse the weapons underneath the ring since they gave a slightly unfair advantage. Removing the weapons feature was probably one of the smartest things they could have done because you shouldn’t be able to force your opponent into a loop where they use all their reversals trying to fight back against someone using a baseball bat.

Falkon they added in cutscenes and realism but removed alot of editing aspects... which honestly limits us from making it super realistic. Now we're stuck with the default arcadey matches. 2K18 is the best wwe game of all time. Why: -Biggest Roster (better than 19) -even if wrestler not in the game (graphics were good enough to create a caw of them and make it look and play real) -editing was not limited, you can go below 30 in attributing slots. -Abilities created a huge majority of how good the wrestler is (19 removed alot and added payback which TBFH shortend the amount of scenarios meaning you can see wrestlers with pretty much the same build...) -2K18 GRAPHICS WERE BETTER THAN 2K19 [The character models were so half assed this year, look at the armpits for god sake what is that. Dont confuse the cool camera angles with bad graphics... 2K19 is a Wrestling Video Game 2K18 is a Wrestling Simulation Game Thats the difference.

Great video. The new features are exciting, however, I could do with out the big head mode. Is Road to glory better this year? I think there should be a damage meter on the cell walls. Throwing your opponent against the wall a few times for example. I love the customization for characters and everything else.

The myCareer mode improvement is amazing, Voiceovers are back, Amazing storylines to travel along ESPECIALLY Matt Hardy's one and Bray's too...the gas mask and house of horror was on point and lets not forget zombie HHH...this makes up for no HIAC weapons...as long as I can still go backstage and fight there so far its hasn't said to be removed....so that's a good thing

This really makes me feel like I made the right choice in skipping 18. They need to add in a "create a sign" feature. They already have the creation suites for it - it would literally just be a matter of coding it in. They should also put in a little variety for the cages - at least being able to pick between chain link or the old school barred cages.

5:35 I have an explanation for this. THQ made the svr games and for some reason they removed the match, then when WWE2K14 came out 2K was added in the name, the previous year was just WWE13. The reason for this is that THQ used to own the WWE License but then it switched to 2K. 2K then realised it was a good and fun match to add in the game. I hope this information helped

The only thing in 2K19 that to me is worst than 2K18, is the ranking system in Universe Mode. In 2K19, each superstar can only be in one championship ranking. If you put Roman Reigns in the Universal Championship ranking, he can't be in the IC title ranking, and the same with the Tag Team Titles, wich that is awful for teams that include main eventers like Ambrose & Rollins, if you put them in the Tag Team title ranking, they can't be in any singles title ranking. To me, that sucks. Before 2K19, you didn't have to worry about the rankings, and now, it's a lot more complicated now

The career mode of 2k18 was...let's just say rubbish. It was too simple, without voice acting, the storylines where only 2, the "company man" or the "fan favorite" or something and it didn't even completely work. The bugs where too much. You unlocked the feature to "brawl with whoever you want backstage if not engaged in a storyline" and surprise, when engaged in a storyline was the only time you could brawl backstage. Calling out Seth Rollins (as an example) and Kalisto answers for some reason even the devs didn't know. And those are some of the ones I got. I hope we don't have that stuff in this year's game.

One more thing is needed in my mind for WWE games are perfected (other than what 2k19 gave us) GM mode, loved that mode and with the brand split it would work, imagine being the GM of Raw, Smackdown, or NXT (I know universe mode kinda does this but add rating reviews, awards at WRESTLEMANIA, and if you fail, you get fired but all previous choices are saved for following year)

TurtleBoi 23 your point about less features is irrelevant since every year after 14 the features have been less and less and have not been re-added excluding those features that are unnecessary to gameplay enhancement. How bout this for fun online, 5 counter bars that I can glitch or stomp away, that needs to be removed, but it definitely has more features this year vs the past 3 games.

TurtleBoi 23 it was a slightly updated version of 17 and I do play online sometimes so the 5 bars matter to most who purchase this game, look at all the svr game's up to 14, you'll see the difference.

That's just one bone I have to pick and by the way, by wrestlers I mean legends, also story designer and other features of the game that are important to people who have bought the series since svr. I'm not saying that all the same features/wrestlers have to be there all the time, but you can't even give your wrestler a name anymore i.e. there are so many missing in the name options it's ridiculous. The majority of the people that buy this game play online so what may not matter to you does to many, the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few. 2k/yukes almost goes out of the way to water the franchise down, so while I love this year's game a lot because it is a huge step up from 18, I still think we need our creative freedom back. Authenticity is important. For instance I'm willing to bet we can still only have a royal rumble in their royal rumble arena and you can't have one in a custom arena, no good reason For that at all.

No it didn't the free roam was useless in 2k18 and the career mode was terrible not improved it was basically 2k17s career mode all over again only difference was they put you in a title match right when you got to NxT to speed things along

I love the idea of Universe mode but I realized it doesnt have a goal, you literally have no idea if your doin good or bad, they should make a ratings system where it has you get rewarded if your putting on consistent matches and sticking to interesting story lines, the star system doesnt quite mean anything, and when you sim matched half are a disaster. Am i suppose to watch or play every single match on every care for it to work? if im just missing something please explain it to me lol
