I work for a construction company that works with and delivers the cement to Ashville - the difference between Daniel's attitude and our company is night and day. We started running into a new problem when our lorries were breaking down, so what did we do? Here we have my enormous physique which comes in handy to pull around lorries when needed. Seeing as this work didn't make sense for the investment we also bring in more work by pulling around communter trains and busses.

I believe he just owns the siding which is connected to the main train line, He will then have an agreement with his railfreight operator (Which in his case is GB Railfreight) to get them to deliver aggregate from the quarry to the yard.

Yeah, good question safsum. When & how do you take the plunge!? For example That original lorry was 65k that’s almost 3 years salary for most people. I guess he then specialised in basement extensions and then that kickstarted the cash flow to fund concrete business

I'm also a big fan of a business owner who thinks "Or clients need this service, I can build that into what we can offer. Coordinating a project becomes so much easier when you can find a good, reliable company they can cater for all of your site needs. Beats burning through time and money trying to get multiple companies working nicely together, and communicating with each other to synchronise jobs.

Very insperational guy. Huge respect. From someone who runs four tractor units myself I can see where Daniel is coming from when comparing new to old vehicles. I believe it’s how you value your time. Buy old spend weekends and nights fixing older trucks. Buy new frees up maintenance time but costs you more for new trucks.

It'll be cool if you can do more day in the life stuff. Your training and diet regimen. Man is a walking sliverback! Edit: Yes that stuff is all over the internet, but none of it is from people that actualy have a job let alone 100 Hours+ a week entrepreneurs.

Yep. Totally agree. Every Day in the life you see in youtube are about immature and silly kids talking about toys, playing around and how cool they are, not really about REAL WORK work and REAL LIFE.

You Have done well building up your fleet im 59 now and worked for a company in east london years ago called McGrath bros driving skips and tippers they started with one like you did i hope you do as ell as they have in years to come
