Aside from recording transactions, CPAs in the Philippines can also be CFOs, finance officers, internal or external auditors, stock market brokers, and become a consultant/advisor of companies. So madami talaga siyang opportunities guys. If you want to pursue, i-G niyo na. :) Audit work is mostly about giving assurance that internal controls in the operations of the companies are in place so you can give investors the confidence that the financial reports of the companies they are investing in are not misstated.

Grade 12 ABM student na ako ngayon, undecided pa ko kung anong kukunin ko sa college gusto ko sana accountancy ang kaso medyo lang ako sa pag aanalyze ng mga transaction (mahina ako sa analytical situations) pero gusto ko parin kunin yung accountancy, tapos sa board exam pa Haha. Kinatatakutan ko yan. Kase sabi ng iba madali lang makahanap ng trabaho sa ganitong course eh. Kayo po ba ate magaling po ba kayo mag analyze ng mga transaction? , ok naman sakin mga solving pero sa pag aanalyze ❌ ako Haha

same di din ako magaling maganalyze nung shs kasi ako gusto ko med kasi magaling ako sa memorization at bata pa lang ako nagbabasa na ko about medicine kaso gusto ng parents ko accountancy para sakin at di nila ako kaya pagaralin ng med kaya napilitan napunta ako sa course na to, sa awa ng diyos nakaabot ako 3rd year college basta basa lang ng basa mag advance reading ka makakasurvive ka sa accountancy.

Hi Marjorie. In my case, I enrolled and studied Accounting 2 before I even studied and encountered basic accounting. Ang ginawa ko inaral ko basic accounting while I’m enrolled in partnership and corporations accounting. Naipasa ko yun. The next sem saka ko naenroll basic accounting. Ipinaglaban ko sa Dean pumayag nmn na macredit yung accounting 2 khit hnd pako nagbasic accounting. Isang patunay na kakayanin mo din.

Depende po sa accountancy policy ng school. Sa school ko before need iretake up to 2x lang ang accounting at law subjects at dapat pasado yung undergrad preboard exam ng undergrad review nmin.

Hi Camille. BSBA is not a pre-requisite to take BSA so you can take BSA immediately without taking BSA but if you're BSBA now and want to pursue BSA then it is okay also.
