The bit with the arrow grenade I'm gonna give less than a three. The problem is the bow and flight angle. That much weight on the front of the arrow, being shot by a short bow, is going to make that arrow fly far shorter than the distance implied. You're probably better off just throwing the grenade. A frag grenade weighs 400 grams. The average arrow weights between 11 and 22 grams.
@BW02215 күн бұрын
It's a zero (0). That arrow wouldn't make it ten feet. It isn't just the added weight of the grenade being so much more than the arrow, it's the fact you have so much weight not inline with the shaft. The center of mass is now well outside the shaft. The vast majority of the force from the bow will just go into rotating the arrow shaft around that heavy grenade. Not going to remotely work.
@EggwardEgghands15 күн бұрын
@@BW022 Hehe yes. Anyone who has shot a bow and arrow can visualize exactly how that would go.
@Eralen0014 күн бұрын
That's if the arrow even makes it off the bow! Not only would the grenade completely disrupt the aerodynamics of the arrow, it could possibly even break the arrow as soon as you release the string. It's trying to accelerate a much heavier weight than it's designed for. Arrows are meant to be a specific weight and stiffness, or at least within an acceptable range. Adding a big heavy hunk of steel at the end throws it completely outside of acceptable range.
@TheRealMisterMeister12 күн бұрын

I like that he kept using the word "designed", because that's something most people don't consider about any weapon system- each one is designed intentionally for a set of circumstances, which means it's less good for most circumstances it was *not* designed for. Movies always need to add the fire color to what is otherwise an invisible shock wave. High explosives don't flame. Your organs get smashed up like a massive slap, but nobody is getting thrown in the air. It just doesn't look dramatic, so they always make it completely wrong. Every damn time like some kind of magic wind.
