My heart just swells with pride seeing this. My mom is a hoarder, and we once had a van that had mold growing in it. Made me kinda sick. We also had a dog (Chow, probably mixed with Terrier, he was quite aggressive), and he smelled pretty bad... It just makes me feel like I'm standing there, watching my mom's last car she owned (dad owns the cars now, she doesn't drive anymore), get cleaned up really nice! If you're not the child of a hoarder, then you'll never understand that feeling. And I hope you'll never have to.

And he'd say oh well it was already gross and nasty from his brother and his family who had it before him. Apparently they just let their kid make messes in the back seat and never cleaned it. So he just figured why bother? I literally couldn't wear nice clothes with him cuz I was afraid they'd get dirty or stained from his car. The amount of times there was a funky smell and I'd have to dig through the car to find the rotting food... And he'd talk about how embarrassed he was by the car but then wouldn't do a damn thing to change it! It was infuriating. And don't even get me started on his bedroom... dude had issues, least of which was refusing to ever let anyone help him with anything. I was living with my parents when the pandemic started. I was an essential worker and my parents were so scared that I’d bring home focus they asked me to move out. I basically had a few days to move and a lot of camping stuff I didn’t have room for in the new place got stored in my car. Then the seals around my windows failed and the constant moisture made mold grow under the stuff. Now I have a place with room to move the camping stuff but it’s so moldy that I don’t want to “infect” my home with the grossness. So I’ve put off the big cleaning project and I’m terrified that my car looks like this under all the junk. It’s so embarrassing because I’m not a dirty person and my home is clean and organized. But at the same time I can’t/won’t let anyone ride in my vehicle and the looks people give when they see the mountain of stuff inside is humiliating. I know I need to do something about it but I just feel overwhelmed.
@izzatihassan14752 жыл бұрын
Hey, I got mold in my car too, during the pandemic. My car's seal also failed and it was raining for 24+ hours during that time, and since I was working remotely and go out only once a week, I nearly passed out seeing the condition of the car! After about a couple of days of just staring at the car being demotivated and all. First thing I did was made a mixture of vinegar and water and sprayed it on the moldy seats. Then kept spraying it every few days until the mold died. Then i made my own mix of clover oil to kill the spores so it doesn't grow back. Not sure if it helped though. So finally I went to a detailing company like this and paid them to deep clean (hot steam) all the seats for $300. The final step has made all the difference, honestly.

Honestly I would never clean a disaster like this... This car should be thrown away. Imagine if you bought the car cleaned and learned in what state it was before you bought it (Dirt like this can never be 100% cleaned)

I love how the captions mentioned when they first opened the door they started gagging but it wasn’t played in the video.😂 Job well done!

How much would a detail like this cost?
@PostTraumaticSwagDisorder2 жыл бұрын
As much as the car lmao

I'm curious as to how much that kind of work on a regular car would cost. Definitely hundreds of dollars, I'm sure!
@LostMySauce2 жыл бұрын
Yep, probably upwards of $200 or so

Detail cost can vary. Definitely more than a few hundred and not as cheap as some would think. For a good detail. Buffing, clay bar, waxing, ceramic coat, underbody cleaning, engine bay cleaning, entire interior, carpet, etc… It can get very expensive

Bro where did you find my ex's car? 🤣😭
@joshcruz7912 Жыл бұрын
Hey brother... I used to do deep cleaning in section 8 housing when the tenants would get kicked out, die, locked up, etc... Lots of hoarding... I'm a janitor now(Master of Custodial Arts) and I have a cleaning tip for you... 1)Go down to a Home Depot. 2)Buy a gas can(5 gallon minimum). 3)Drive to gas station and fill gas can. 4)Soak the interior and exterior with gas. 5)Set car on fire. Pro tip... Add some oil to the gas and now water won't put out the flames!!!

How is cleaning the carpet cheaper than replacing it?

I respect the detailer who's deals with pressure washer more than water extractor

That cannot be worth it. Looks like an old and not very valuable car.
