It’s simple- get your country in compliance or step aside while they are put in compliance. The guise of being humanitarian has gone too far, to the point that both countries suffer from this terrorizing committed by criminals.. there have been many groups in the USA who have been whiped out for doing nothing more than practicing their own religious freedoms and their freedoms of speech and expression… this situation goes way further and is far worse/ more dangerous.

36:17 I don't agree that the Mexican military will not work with American soldiers. My problem with Mexican soldiers and police working with our operators is how many of the Mexican military is on cartel payrolls. My problem is us trying to help them and moles undermining our efforts and jeopardizing our soldiers..

Blaming the US is an old story, in part still true, but the cartels are now in the very tapestry of mexican society, all forms of business and politics. Unfortunately the power structures of not just Mexico but all of latin america lend to corrupt societies. Mexico and Mexicans are responsible for letting them fester to the point they run large parts of the country. And if it is our fault then they should let our military in to go clean it up and quit complaining. We would be more than happy to help by cutting the problem off at its roots

Rule #1: never underestimate thy enemy… However, why is everyone treating the cartels as the greatest fighting force and the us military as the ones Running around underfunded, under trained and less superior. It’s wild how much everyone is underestimating the capabilities of the us military 🤔. Google - "Vietnam". It's not about military power. It's about political will. If the people of Mexico isn't behind the US, then what's the point? We're better off closing our borders to Mexico - airtight. No trade, no immigration. Let the country implode. If they want the cartels to rule, so be it, but NO ONE from a terrorist country will set foot in America.

You partially right on that also very conflicting topic why simple if you read Mexican history and the US only internally, the right or the left (make sure to understand which side ones is talking about and what is the current era of political parties main goal, each era is different) currently the opposition knows as the conservative or the right in Mexico dates back at least almost 200 favoring always intervention from the US kind of similar to the democrats in the US. well the Conservatives in Mexico are Neo-liberals not again all, there are some who sell themselves and sell the country and there is a patter why Mexico has lost so much great par was mainly due to fighting among themselves both the left and the right decades and even centuries over who gets the right to decide which is the correct path for Mexico that cause other great power to invade Mexico even divide Mexico as those old great powers has done to other countries during the colonial era. Complex topic but the main issue lies not the Us but the ones who got control of the US government the corrupt and evil ones created the cartel under the direct order from the global elites and shift the blame as always US mean while Mexico must be treat as a piñata 🪅. The cartels as whole is just an instrument to hold Mexico progress it can become a great power like Japan. Mexiciand Japan share some cultural and parallel similarities. There is a book mention no directly but phrase somewhat of a secret code mention by Zbigniew Brzezinski “another Japan south of the border”

Yes! People miss the whole point of Spec-Ops, which some are: "Finding and exploiting weaknesses in the enemy. Hitting them HARD when they aren't looking. Fleeing before trouble comes to you. Attacking from behind" They're just trained much, much better, overall. I'm tired of movie's making it seem like a 4-man Spec-Ops Squad can obliterate a whole enemy platoon, close-up, like Jason Statham raiding that base in XXX. Yes, they are elite. Yes, they'd still be deadly. Yes, they could run in like Rambo and mess stuff up. But the odds of dying/messing up the mission increase significantly with the "Rambo Approach", of course. Most of these Ops (such as a Cartel Raid) are trained for, for hours. The actual Op when you get down to it, might be over in a minute. I remember hearing about a Seal Team who rappeled down into a mission area, took out 6 guys and completed their objective in 59 seconds, so... Spec-Ops essentially bring Bazooka's to an enemy trained for a Knife Fight, if you know what I mean! 😅

Cartels since the 1980s have had Isreali special forces, American special forces, Marines, and Army personel on retainers where they run boot camps for cartel members to become military trained. Shoot the Zetas started as a group of Mexican military who were trained in the states as special forces, only to desert and become a cartel. They were so powerful at one time that they were beating the Mexican army to the point that President Calderon asked for help from the Sinaloa cartel with men to fight the Zetas. The sinaloa cartel set up a group of military trained sicarrios to fight the zetas on the same side of the as the Mexican Government. That new group known as the mata zetas/ zeta killers split from the sinaloa cartel and became what is now the CJNG the second biggest cartel if not the biggest of Mexico now. just between CJNG AND THE SINALOA cartel they have roughly 50k military trained members. who would fight only when they absolutely had to. guerilla war is what it would be. like I said the population of Mexico would take their side.

Los zetas never beat the army, they beat local and state police, mostly beacuse the lack of weapons and poor training(the police in Mexico before 2007 was mostly disarmed) in the early stages of the war against cartels, thats the reason the army was deploy to the streets and the spending on public security increased, and the militarization of public security in all levels(local, state and federal) those reforms lead to the total defeat of los zetas in 2013. In all those years, CDS and los mata zetas (the name they have before CJNG) where mostly hiding of los Zetas, they never strike the structure of los Zetas, they only do videos killing randoom people(theres no real confirmation the people kill on those videos really work for los Zetas or another cartel, its a posibility, but theres no confirmation yet) on internet for propaganda proupose against their rivals, the only cartel that really atack their structure was cartel del golfo, and they where wreck by the army too

If the US wants to help Mexico start by labeling politicians who work hand in hand with cartel as terrorist. The Mexican government will not be behind the cartel because of their sovereignty… That is wildly off however, I agree that Mexico is very nationalistic, prideful and against imperialism. The history between the US and Mexico caused some scars to Mexicans. For example the Mexican- American war caused Mexicans to be aware of imperialistic acts from the US (loss of land due to conflicts with slavery). The US also has meddled into Mexican elections in the past be have supported dictatorship in Mexico which have benefited the US. These issues from the past caused resentment and awareness of imperialistic acts against Mexican politics and economics.

I am a gringo my kid are Hispanics and I know the majority Hispanics are very good people. I have been watching documentaries since the early 90s and basically nothing ever Changes . The Mexican cartel has become more militarized, no big surprise . If you go back the past 50 years and watched the documentaries its the same story only the names change . The Mexican government is basically run by the Mexican Cartel. Here is my question why is it such a big insult that if America makes Mexico a 51 state ? The Mexican people would have a better future for there families. They will still be able to keep their culture values what is the down side. The Mexican cartel would be eliminated why this be bad for the Mexican people ? In 70rs from now we all will be dead and I willing to bet these same stories will repeating over again. If Mexico became a state for American we be saving, lives and Mexico would have better future.

Well you got to cut out the American people that mind you are high up in government making a fortune in the drug business also , the Mexicans are a long long oppressed , selfish people, until they as a whole work together for the betterment of the people as a whole they are doomed. It will take several generations to change them, we were two generations away from good change in irak but we pulled out and those people are most likely all dead or so pissed off they converted to the bad side now and caint blame them one bit. Trump had better go after all involved in the drug trade all! In Mexico and in America , Canada all!!!

@@kidneystones3406 I’ll explain to you why this is a big insult because of the War of 1848 but not only that if you really saw as much as series as you say you had,The American government never let Mexico develop. Keeping Mexico unstable has always been part of the American policy towards Mexico your own national security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski say they will never allow a Japan in its border. Because Mexico has the potential to become a wealthy nation that’s the truth it just never let it developed. The CIA was the one who started the drug trafficking to finance the War against the communist in Latin America. Then they started making the American people addicted to it because they wanted to keep its people stupid and they are the true pioneers of the Narcos in Mexico they all know this. The War on drugs is just a lie they never wanted it to stop. Now they want to blame all there problems on Mexico and that’s some thing the Mexican government will not accept and the Mexican people will not allow it sovernity to be step on again. That’s why the New government in Mexico does not do everything the US tells them to because things have changed it’s not the same as in the 70, 80 and 90 this is a new change in regime in Mexico that want to get out of the whole and will not allow the US to stop its development like how it did in the past decades. That’s the answer in why we won’t allow it not ever again that’s enough it’s time for Mexico to start growing and developing into the nation it should be.

There was strategy behind "Abrazos no balasos" it wasnt just literally to not do anything in response to cartels. What makes this problem hard to tackle even for well meaning mexican governments like the last and this new one is that the illicit money from decades of the drug economy has become a big oart of the mexican economy. This is the main reason for taking on the cartel power slowly and calculated . The need to avoid bloodshed was only secondary . Many mexicans today are willing to take a economic hit of it means getting a handle on the rampant corruption they are living under.

Don’t ask a Canadian how they stay in a country. The Canadian government doesn’t want its residents outside of Canada… they charge a “departure” tax if they think you moved out of Canada.

At face value, I would want the American military's help, but I worry that the job may not be completed, leaving those who assisted U.S. forces vulnerable to retaliation. This wouldn't be the first time the American government has put foreign civilians in such a position.

Let’s face it, the Mexican government is called cartel when they’re involved in trafficking, what do we call senators, heads of federal agencies and intelligence when they’re involved? We target Elon Musk for uncovering it.
