I found it ironic, and it might be more what I'm going through, but the lyrics is literally caring less and being more toxic by being jaded about what your actions/consequences. Hence: "Calling ex girlfriend/blowing all my money/burning down my house." "trying to get closer to feeling yet a little bit of less care." "never think about what you think about me, we're all going to die." etc... its super cynical and pessimistic. but sometimes that's what your feeling/going through. can't wait for his LA concert :3
