Rachel was wrong for bringing a knife to the fight, but Sarah was no angel either. Sarah and her band of bandits antagonized and stalked Rachel relentlessly, even at her job. Sarah drove to Rachel's residence with a few of her friends, outnumbering Rachel, who was home alone. Again, Rachel's reaction was impulsive and violent, which is a shame because both young women lost their lives that fateful night, not to mention the family and friends who were deeply impacted by this senseless tragedy. Do the right thing! That just about sums it up. ~ Edit: Despite the threatening voice-mail Rachel left for Sarah, she (Rachel) didn't hunt her down and stab her to death. This hurts anyone who hates you 10000x more, but this way you don’t reap bad karma & you don’t care anyway bc you’re so happy : )

Na, the best revenge is to have sex with the other girl. My bf was cheating on me and when he dumped me for the girl, I began pursuing her and she ditched him for me. Then, after a month of her and I together, I ghosted her and he ended up loosing me AND her (plus the added benefit that I got a bit of tasty revenge on her after ghosting). The only thing more pathetic than a cheater is the partner who doesn’t hold them accountable and takes it out on the other person who ALSO unknowingly got cheated on.
@gownerjones3 жыл бұрын
That seems a bit unfair and overly generalized. People get emotionally manipulated, especially impressionable teenagers, especially when they get involved with douchebags like Josh here. Emotional manipulation is something incredibly hard to realize when it happens to you. I'm not defending Wade or what she did but it's not okay to generally call people pathetic if they don't hold a cheater accountable. If you look into some cases of domestic abuse, you'll find that it's common for the abused party to defend the abuser and stay with them. Often, unilateral abusive relationships have waves of intense violence and hate followed by intense love and affection. The love and affection hooks the victim and keeps them from leaving during the abusive phases. There is a whole science to analyzing abusive / manipulative relationships. A form of Stockholm Syndrome is almost always part of it. Blaming the victim and calling them pathetic is not appropriate in my opinion.
@blyndeaf85033 жыл бұрын
@@gownerjones I’m not blaming the victim, I’m saying it’s pathetic to take it out on another person who was hurt by the SAME person who hurt you unknowingly. Abuse is sad and common, yes, but I don’t think you should just be excused for taking it out on another human being because you we angry and abused. It is LITERALLY pathetic; the dictionary definition, sad and absurd. I understand the cycle of abuse, and I’ve studied it because, unfortunately, I have lots of family members who dealt with it and I wanted to help break the cycle. MOST of them don’t just go spreading the poison though, and though I pity them, I don’t excuse their actions because there are multitudes of people who have been in that situation and didn’t take it out on others. No dating until after college. Now will my girls remain chaste until marriage, I pray, however the standard has been set; dating in high school is out of the question. Not tolerating it; their responsibility is to become educated, emotionally healthy adults so I am not taking care of them at the age of 89; my responsibility is to guide them and get them there. Not parent blaming or shaming but there was way to much freedom with no responsibility attached. God Bless everyone.

Love the detectives approach to wade , clearly she has been told what she wants to hear all her life and the detective makes it a point to state the facts of the situation without her being able to excuse any responsibility “she can’t chase you anymore because she is dead”

some advice from a grandma....put your daughter in sports...or any activity that is a focus outside of school...her teammates will likely be a very good influence on her....also show her how important her homework is to you so studies can become a priority..and just talk with her everyday The biggest gift any child can get is to have high self-esteem...The fact that you are already concerned tells me you are a wonderful mother...best wishes from Canada

@@raintree3383 im her father, which makes me even more worried because I know first hand how stupid boys are at that age (or any age for that matter) but I appreciate your response. @@moderategiantx3374 I am so happy that you are her Father...a little girl will map her Father as a blueprint to how she will eventually expect men to treat her....I know this first hand---my own father didnt physically abuse me but he was blank towards me...I wasnt important at all...my brothers were gold though..so I felt comfortable with men who didnt value me because it was my normal..anyway sounds like your baby girl has an incredible Dad...blessings to you both

You seem like a good parent who cares about their child, but I take issue with this comment. I feel like girls automatically get the reputation that they are going to grow up to be some rebellious hoe without even having a chance to show what kind of person they will become. You don't often hear that type of conversation about young boys, even though they have equal opportunity to grow up to be bad people. Obviously, everyone is different. Most young girls "difficult" phases are just because they are going through puberty, and they have lots of emotions. They might begin having an interest in boys, which is totally normal. But you shouldn't be 'terrified' of your daughter growing up. You should be prepared be there for your daughter. Talk to her and show her what a good man is supposed to act like by being a good father. You claimed that Sarah was a well adjusted person; obviously she was not. A well adjusted person does not do these things, teenage girl or otherwise. You shouldn't attribute that kind of behavior to simply BEING a teenage girl. None of the teenage girls I knew (myself included) were doing anything as extreme as these two young girls. We weren't fighting over bad boys, harassing and physically fighting each other over them. Our lives did not revolve around fighting for boys, or trying to be a terror to our parents. Yes, those things can happen, because teenagers can be immature, but it shouldn't be expected from every young girl. That kind of behavior is NOT normal! Instead of expecting the worst out of your daughter in a few years, be the stability in her life that will help her through any hardships she might face

I like the narrator's voice, calm, clear, unemotional and objective. Best of all I like that this Podcast is called Monsters. Several people call these psychopaths "animals " which is most unfair to animals. No animal sinks to depths of human depravity and cruelty. And....all this drama over this 90 pound punk????

It's amazing how no one got angry at Josh, the person that caused all of this. And if someone tells you that you have to "prove" your love or fight to keep their affection it's time to leave. I'm not fighting over a guy of all things. I'm married for 20 years and I would NOT fight another woman over my husband. The other woman can keep him because if he's with someone else it's over anyway. My thought is keep him, he's your problem now because there's way too many men in this world to fight over one.
