This is probably one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard! I must have listened to this almost a hundred times, and I still get chills when I hear her sing. This is true music! I've heard people compare her to Adele and other mainstream artists, but I don't think these comparisons do her justice. Sigrid is a gem! Although I agree that Sigrid is great and indeed a breath of fresh air, the irony in the (ill) comparison & saying 'mainstream artists like Adele' isn't lost. Just because she gets airtime/play due to people recognizing her talent and voice (which is anything but generic compared to tons of unidentifiable and uninspired popmusic singers out there, including those who are 'well-known') doesn't make her mainstream. Particularly odd you'd say that only to continue and mention emotion and rawness, which are two characteristics clearly present in Adele's voice and are things she's been praised for.
