Thank you for being so candid about your motherhood journey. I had a very similar experience mentally and emotionally and things got so much easier once I stopped over informing myself and realized my daughter does not fit in the same box as all babies especially as far as sleep goes. Sleep regressions are no joke and my almost 18 month old still struggles to sleep long stretches 😴 The mindset you shared on just moving on with the day and not letting a good or bad night overshadow the day is so incredibly helpful. Being there for our babies at night will never be a regret in the long term. You’re doing great momma.

I remember my son’s first laugh at 4 months old. Our newborn months was full of crying, like ten hour a day crying. And when he smiled at me for the first time and gave me a belly laugh, it was the best thing in the world. It made me feel like I finally did something right. It warms your whole heart ❤️ You are so beautiful as a mother!

What a beautiful vlog! Giving you props that you are even vlogging and editing. (Don’t recall if you have an editing person) My son is 17 and at times I wished I had written down things during his babyhood. My first few months were hard but like you, you get into a “routine” for the both of you and you start enjoying more. I always say, even now, once you get used to a stage, child goes in a new one. I’m always learning. It doesn’t end.

I just want to share that you have nooo idea how helpful it is to see you looking so healthy post partum and not exercising. I’m generally a very active person but I’m 28 weeks preggo now and can’t exercise much with pelvic & feet pain. I worry sometimes about body image post partum when I see women getting back into heavy lifting & running quickly after the 6 week mark. I know my body typically takes longer to recover. So anyway, thank you for sharing your post partum mom journey with us!!!!

I think we all totally underestimate how much our lives will change once a baby comes along. We think they will just slot in so easily but it really does change your life so much. Changes it for the better but still takes some time to adjust to the change. Then just as life begins to get easier we decide to have another one and 2… well that’s a game changer and one suddenly seemed so easy.
