In short..if you want to just freestyle everday skating without grinding on rails then get inline, if you want to be grinding on rails then get aggressive skates ...thank me later
@Thisissoul4 жыл бұрын
correct. except for that "inline" means having the wheels in one line. Hence aggressive skates are also inline skates.

My struggle between aggressive and urban/free skates is that the aggressive skates have that, sleek, cool and minimalist look that i like plus some cool colorways. I'm not looking to grind, so there's almost no point in me getting them other than for the look of it. I'm struggling to find free skates that achieve the same look, so wondering if it makes sense to get aggressive flat skates (4 wheels instead of 2) with larger wheels
@robinwouters15304 жыл бұрын
Aggressive skates are pretty heavy, so I wouldn't recommend that
@sherell2343 жыл бұрын
Have you seen the USD Aeon 80? Its an aggressive skate that has 80 mm wheels suitable for both free skating and aggressive skating. No need to have two pairs of skates

@@sherell234 I just looked them up and st first impression, I like the style and wheel size. I'm going to do some more research and these. Thanks for the tip

Aggressive is almost always very small wheels. Which is good for tricks. But is very tiring to skate around a city.

Men that does aggressive / freestyle inline skating do you take it slow or do you go at it? I'm asking because I would love to start inline skating, when I was little in Miami My twin sister had a pair I used them before I grew taller and ruin her skates.

Hi everyone, I'm looking into getting back into skating, which I used to do as a kid. I have quite a large shoe size and don't want to pay too much for a pair since I might not stick with it. I found a cheap pair of Valo ab1 aggressive skates. I'm probably more going to cruise through the city than anything else. I know it's not ideal but will this be fine to get started and relearn the basics? How hard is it to drive around a city with agressive skates?
@Thisissoul4 жыл бұрын
Cruising around on aggressive skates is about as hard as trying to go on the freeway with your bicycle. Id recommend Freestyle skates for anything but grinding www.thisissoul.com/skates/freestyle-inline-skates.html

one is the proper term for skating on 76mm+ wheels, and the other is a marketing term that doesnt really mean anything translatable to hardware.

i just want to ask 1. i heard that freeride skates were good for slalom skating and stuff like that is that right?(also i assume that freeride is another term for freestyle) 2. what else are they good at? i definitely know that i want that type of skate but what are they good at also i wanted to learn terms so im here .-.
@henhenhenhen06 Жыл бұрын
Freestyle skates are basically all rounders, you can use them for slalom they do pretty decent in my opinion. You can use them as urban skates as well to get around the city. However if you really want to focus on slalom and stuff like that it is more better if you just get a slalom oriented skate.

@@Thisissoul Yeah I know what you mean! So with slalom skating we have 7 disciplines no? Maaaan it is so dificiult, I just realised that the guys doing slalom call the sliding competition also freestyle: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3nYc6Knor97lbM Maybe I would argue that one should only call it Free Skating or Free Inline Skating, cause you made the point that it is without obstacles, but if you do freeskating you will jump some stairs maybe or do some little wallrides no? Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. He died for the people that you hate, the people that are neglected daily, the people that are abusing drugs, he died for murderers, thieves, homosexuals, people that cheat on their partners, people that falsely accuse others, and more. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Anything else is a deception. With Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, He set an example for us. We now work out our salvation by changing the way that we live by imitating Christ. We are called to no longer live in sin, but fight against it for the rest of our lives with the help of Jesus
