One really cool thing you didn't mention on development options. You can "Force activities to be resizable" I haven't heard anyone mention it. Gives you the ability to split screen all apps including direct tv.

@@yousseiragdr7598 Soooo I had the Note 10+ for 1.5 years, and it was really good. Then I felt like making a huge change, so I got an iPhone 13 pro, to like... try something new. Which is what I currently have. But next year I'm planning on getting the S22 or S23, though haven't decided which exact type. S pen is great, but I think the S22 ultra looks too sharp on the edges (which is similar to note 10+, but they look even sharper). I've grown to prefer the softer edges (like the iPhone 13 pro), therefore I might get S22/S23+.

Right now you definitely saw the light! Maybe years and years ago there were some cases to be made. And I could definitely see some cases for an iPad (specifically the pro), but for a phone currently you definitely saw the light! Remember technology changes so quickly, who knows what will happen in the future. Just a couple of other points to be made that you may not be aware of. The biggest advantage of Android is the open architecture platform. So with that in mind, there is a very good chance if you don’t like something, you can change it. For example, while I think Samsung has definitely done a better job with the One UI overlay, I still prefer to install Nova Prime Launcher which I’ve been using for years. Every time Samsung changes its overlay, I give it a chance, but I can’t get away from using Nova (there are several good launchers, but I keep going back to this one). In addition, if you don’t like the keyboard, the texting app, the icons, the font, and so on and so on, you can change it all. That’s my favorite thing about Android. I can make it mine. Oh and the one biggest advantage now (now pun intended) as opposed to my iPad or any iPhone, with the screens getting so big you can put your apps and everything towards the bottoms so your finger can reach it (as opposed to everything always going to the top). Enjoy your phone!

Scott, the iPad pro 2 is an amazing tablet, but I do like some of the features of the Tab 6. Hard to beat the iPad though. I use to run Nova on my old Notes but this Note I've left the native One UI alone for now.

Shane Oaks I get that and tried again just like I did on my Note 8, but I guess I just prefer Nova. I haven’t tried the Tab 6 yet. I was thoroughly disappointed with Samsung’s decisions on the Tab 4, and I thought they were done. Yet they came out with the cheap one and then to my surprise the 6 and I agree based on the specs. It does seem a lot better than any Android tablet in a long time. My biggest issue as opposed to iOS is there really isn’t close to the amount of apps that are optimized for tablet use in Android unfortunately. I’m currently using an iPad Air 2 and I absolutely hate it!!! I needed something light due to health reasons and made a big mistake instead of sticking with the Pro. So now I was looking to get a new tablet and give this one to my daughter. I was hoping the Google Pixel Slate would be good, but haven’t read anything really positive about that one. So I was deciding between the newest iPad Pro (but lightest) and the Surface Pro. I feel like a deer in headlights because I’ve waited so long because of the pros and cons between the 2 for my purposes. And now Samsung surprised me with the Tab S6. All of them have certain things that I love and things that I absolutely hate! Keep in mind I’m a huge Note fan (owned 2,3,4,7,8,&10+). Based on your post, it definitely sounds like you’ve used at least 2 out of the 3....so maybe you have some ideas. Also I’m in no rush, so I could wait if there is something coming down the pike that you think is worth it (because there’s always something coming, right). Thanks in advance.

I just purchased my Note 10+. I watched three other videos before yours and I didn't learn a thing. All those guys assumed I had the Note 9 before and just skimmed over info at speed of light. Well, I was coming from a Note 5, you can imagine how lost I felt. Thank you for your detailed description. I will review it many times and I will learn something each time. Granted, I am 70 yrs old and it takes a bit more time for me to get everything. But, I still work and run a small business and so this phone is a great help to me. Have you discovered the camera leveling that only turn on when a)you toggle gridlines on (3x3 or square) and b) hold phone level (flat to the floor). I came across this totally by accident and the only reference I can find mentions Apple using a similar feature in IOS 11. Finally! Found one on my own, lol!

Another great tip for a quick screenshot, back, home, recent and locking screen is to download Softkey Edge from the galaxy store and you can place your edge on either side of the phone. 🙂

Just got this from verizon a few days ago and Im loving it! Under settings if you know your in a safe place you can have your phone disable the unlock features when your in that location, which for me is a great time saver but you can also use it near trusted devices (and 2 other options)

Not a lot of apps are supported by the "duo" so what i did is use the secure folder as if its my second phone. The secure folder should be an option in ur phone already. If u want another option u can down load "parallel universe" from the app store.

There is a screen recording function already built in the Note 10+ as well if you swipe down once, bring down the tools and then swipe once to the left. Just thought I'd share that find but I've also used AZ screen recorder previous and it's a handy app if your device doesn't already have it built in 🙂

This is Tech Today I just finished watching and I’ve already made some comments and hoping I can help some people out. I also hope somebody can answer the few questions that unfortunately don’t think there are any answers. But I wanted to tell you I enjoyed this video. While I did pretty much know everything that was discussed, I did pick up 1 thing. I have always been taught if you can come away with 1 thing. Ironically, I don’t know if I’ll ever use it, but I do love the S Pen. That’s why I’ve been a huge Note fan for years. I never realized you can hold down that button when you do the half circle and it will continue to zoom. That’s great! I passed on the Note 9 because I owned the 8 I didn’t think there was enough for me to bump up. So I haven’t really used the S Pen with Bluetooth functionality. I’m actually curious to see if I’ll use it. I can see some helpful ideas pertaining to business as well as photography. We’ll see if there are any other things where the Bluetooth can go now or if I can think of any in the future. I still miss the original S Note app with Action Memo, Photo Note, Easy Chart, Idea Sketch, Scrapbook, etc. I still hope it’s brought back or added to Samsung Notes. Or even if I can side load it.....I had it on the 8 until it was updated to Pie. I’m digressing. I just wanted to thank you and let you know you have a new subscriber. Also I never thought to ask this of anyone and there is one other KZbinr that would also be good for this. Maybe besides these types of videos you can also do ones for more advanced users on things that someone might have missed, not know about either because it’s not easily located or needs to be installed or side loaded, or just something that might make the phone work even better. Just an idea, but thanks for this. I’ll also let some people I know, know about this because I think they’ll get some benefit from it.

8:51 I use gestures and at first the swipe right didn't work for me. But I realized you need to have the "gesture hints" to use this feature, oddly enough. Without anything, you can't swipe right to access previous apps. For those of you who it might not be working for, try turning on gesture hints. I'm gonna keep them off, but good feature!!!

Pull your menu down and turn off auto rotate. Then the icon will appear.

Don't get me wrong, loved the video and loved watching you talk, but if you had the camera lens on your phone and we could see your finger on the screen instead of seeing an empty screen scroll, the video would have been much more explanatory and easier to follow you.

Thank you for the video. If you like to shrink things down to fit a lot of info on the screen (I do also) you would probably like Nova Launcher. It allows you to customize the screen grid to as many columns and rows as you want. I have mine set up to fit something like 63 icons on the home screen, so everything I need is on one screen -- apps, shortcuts, and widgets.

You can also assign a specific sound for when you remove or replace your s pen. Currently mine is a sword unsheathing and resheathing. Although it doesn't always work when I take the pen out, but it usually goes back to how I have it set up when I put it back in the phone. Just thought I'd add a tip for all of the other Note 10 Plus fans.👍🏻
