3 years on and as I write, there is at least one gullible Person falling for this exact same scam somewhere in the World.

She is fooling herself (and trying to fool us) because she keeps saying she didn't believe him when he asked for $200 but she ended up giving him more than $100,000!

How do people give up money to the scammers? As soon as someone asks for money I am done. That is not happening.

Why are you giving your hard earned money to a stranger Talk to strangers about the weather, not your very personal information. If theyre a business person, let them get money from their bsnk or business sources. Its their issue, not yours.

Ideal candidate for This Morning Presenter. Sadly she'd fail the reality test.

Did this woman suffer from an unstimulating life and finally she gets some action and some romance and she jumps at the chance. 21st century office 🏢 life is often boring 💤 and if there's no one warm to come home to...

My phone shortened the title and I full believed for a moment that this unfortunate lady had been conned out of £11 by the man she trusted.

Sorry but yes it can happen to anyone if your a fool and easily parted with your money , she doesnt live under a rock and must of heard of romance scammers before so why is she here begging ppl not to listen to them when she obviously didn't listen to the warnings from other ppl it's happened to and she's heard about 🙄 the bank shouldn't give you your money back because someone asked for it and you gave it to them 🤷♀️ doesn't matter if he made you aload of promises 🤷♀️

or perhaps have a disability or don't understand these things fully. which should be fraud anyway as it's taking advantage.
@TheDirtydee118Ай бұрын
@Kindcaringsoulgentle yes of course if you have a disability its different as you don't fully understand. My brother is 40 and severely autistic and has safeguarding in place to protect him. He lives with my dad as he requires 24/7 care but as an example his bank card doesn't allow for direct debits or contactless payments , you can only go direct into the bank to take money out and there are checks when doing this. My brother can't talk or understand anything so my dad is his appointee for his money and even tho he's down as this at the bank they still do regular checks as in his id and official letters and actually having to bring in my brother in regularly to show he is how we say and the paperwork is legitimate. No complaints here tho as those safeguards help ppl.

I’m sorry i don’t think this could happen to everyone. In this day and age NO ONE under no circumstances should be sending ANY money to ANYONE on THE INTERNET. ESPECIALLY if you have not met them. END OF

‘This could happen to anyone’. I’m sorry, I really don’t agree. I’m married and would be cautious if my husband asked me for money, never mind a stranger on the internet.
