I loved how despite all the power tools at his disposal, Tommy used basic hand tools to make a REALLY nice set of salad tongs. Plus like he said it is a great weekend project to get kids involved in working with hand tools and involved in a trade. We need to see more of this and hopefully, there are more fun weekend-ish projects like that in there. Plus, Tommy has this really cool vibe about him when working on things that makes you get inspired.

It would be nice if you could do an entire episode on the Home Inspection Nightmares? If you could have maybe 3 to 5 or so of these that would be so cool to do.

Tommy always has a special way to shine when it comes to a basic project. Reminds me of my wood shop class in junior high school.

I moved to our current house 1 year ago June 2019. I completely changed the front garden bed. I did the same boxwood curved hedge. It adds alot of interest and I plan to add monkey grass as a lower evergreen border.

Bwahahaha the editor was asleep at the keyboard. Happens to the best of us, but I'm surprised this wasn't caught before putting in on KZbin. Hopefully it didn't air on TV that way! :o

I guess color-matching is all about how well their equipment works. I will never use it again. I took a piece, had it matched, and what i brought home; after it dried, was a completely different color.

Yep, put the same sample in the machine twice you get two different formulas.. it does usually get it close.

Got some bad news for the owner of the house in the first part of the show...... That color you call "blue", for the outside of the house, is called gray by EVERYBODY else. Hate to break it to you man :/
@jgood0055 жыл бұрын
It's blue. Grey would be the color of the concrete walkway for example. It's definitely a different color.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many plants. I'd use half the boxwoods and take 1 hydrangea away and the Azalea.
@c319798395 жыл бұрын
No way man. That style of garden requires that many plants. Especially with how big the garden is, how big the front of the house is, and how big each of the plants grow. That garden will look great in 3-5 years!
@teh_fatninja4305 жыл бұрын
@@c31979839 in three to five years every single one of those boxwoods will be all grown together. And unless he wants a hedge in the front of his house he's going to have to go out there two to three times a year to make sure that they stay small enough they don't grow together. Just because they are dwarf hydrangeas doesn't mean that they will stay that size their entire life if you take away one of those hydrangeas that gives them a bigger space to get more flowers and look more beautiful. When you have so many plants like that in one area all you're doing is making the plants fight for nutrients between each other. If you have less plants in an area they won't fight and the plant will get bigger and look more beautiful because it's not fighting for nutrients. I have been in this industry my entire life my dad has owned his own business for over 30 years which is longer than I've been alive. My entire family is in the landscape planting and lawn cutting business. Trust me I know what I'm talkin about.
