If I recall correctly... he actually deleted the source file of the song. He recorded and posted this when he was in Hawaii with J-Hope. He was asked later in a live when he was going to release the song and he said he didn't have it any more T_T

This and Decalcomania are very sore points for ARMYs. Two amazing songs just deleted out of existence. If I ever met them I wouldn’t fan girl; I’d tell them off for these song deletions!!!! Of course JK would just giggle and Tae would do Tata Mic face. 🙄

Hello Kim Taehyung is a brilliant composer, he showed us little bit of his songs in lives, moments of relaxation and even in In The Soop, a section that appears briefly when he is on the keyboard, then he released melodies for Jimin and Jin to create fun lyrics improvised. before composing there, in minutes, in front of us, the track that, with the support and professionalism of the members, became the official opening of In The Soop. I wonder why you are keeping these precious things because each one is more beautiful than the other.💟💜

I do like this a lot. Great song. He should release it! I know from the interview with Suga that he didn't like any songs he wrote and he ended up getting tracks and he picked them instead. So, I wonder if he wrote this one and it's one of the ones he didn't want to do. I think he needs to be more secure in his writing!!! Essentially, V can sing any lines and they will sound amazing. It's just true.

Taehyung told us twice during the 18 months prior to Layover recording that he had deleted all the songs he had been working on. Wiped everything, twice. He told us BH producers would not let him record a song he had written as a duet to sing with Jimin ~ BH said it wasn't suited to two males, so Taehyung told ARMY he wouldn't record it at all if he couldn't sing it with Jimin. During a live stream with JK Taehyung mentioned a song he had written to sing with JK. JK's reaction was 'surprise' ~ but not because it was news to him, but because he knew Taehyung was telling ARMY on a live stream something he didn't have permission from BH to talk about. That song was never recorded. Taehyung spoke up on the live stream because he knew the track would never be recorded. None of the tracks on Layover are written by Taehyung. The album and MVs aren't produced by BH ~ Taehyung chose to use Min Heejin of ADOR, another subsidiary of HYBE. A lot of us who are debut ARMY believe Taehyung won't write, produce or release his own work as things stand, and have done for a long time. You just have to research how Taehyung's debut of Layover was managed. There was no promotion of the album. There was zero promotions for the release of the first two tracks of Layover, both dropped A MONTH before the album was released. We'd been told we had that whole month to prepare for Layover drop then suddenly, with just hours warning 'Love Me Again' dropped, and 24 hours later 'Rainy Days' ~ with zero prior promotions ~ and both so close together it messed with charting them individually. Everyone knew Taehyung's Chinese fansites would buy hugely during debut week but no more than 30% of what was needed to satisfy worldwide orders was produced, so losing Taehyung huge sales numbers for the first vital week, and the month long preorder for sales was completely ignored and no albums began shipment until after the 14 Sept; which was the last day of the first week of sales tracking, so again, Taehyung's true sales didn't show on worldwide charts. Then shipping was again moved back another week to 22 Sept for SO many orders, again, affecting chart ratings. No announcements or promotions for the album were made by the record distributor in the US until 5 days after it came out, and days after each MV was released. 'Someone' removed Slow Dancing from Spotify for the whole of 14 Sept, losing hundreds of thousands of streams ~ similar problems happened on itunes. The list goes on....
