Everything you said about love is spot on! ...and it happens to be something I really need to hear right now. Thank you. (Sidenote: I'm like you and know exactly what you mean by "love hard.") I'm coming out of a relationship with someone that during that period where you said infatuated with the other person we fill in the blanks. I filled in the blanks with what I hoped. She filled in the blanks with what she feared. We were essentially trying to live in a house that we never finished building.

For me love is pain and it is worth it. Just like childbirth, it hurts so bad but so much love comes with it when the child is born. The love is there once you find out you are pregnant. So yeah I agree.
