This song is so, so beautiful. Woosung is exquisite. Just as a small thing. I love the shot with his sweater adding texture, the light is gorgeous, and I love what you were saying about him leaning so close in to the piano. The idea of people being visual, auditory, kinesthetic learners however, that's been disproven by quite a few educational studies. It's stuck around for a long time, but has no actual basis in science as a method of learning.

I'm curious now though, what has taken its place? It may be a lot, I'm not in education, but the learning preferences have been around for so long. So if there is no scientific basis, then what HAS been found because there has to be ... something? If it's too much to explain here (which I wouldn't be surprised), just point me in the right direction. My sincerest appreciation is yours.

The texture comments were very interesting - I saw it as a "softening" of the image but it left his sensuality intact because of the cut - making it seductive. Really loved this video, Roscoe. I really enjoyed hearing the insights you presented about the ways that people experience media and i think that's a valuable but of information many of us don't consider because we may only experience things in our own way and not realize how much that can vary from person to person. In addition, it goes even deeper than just different people experience things in different ways, but in different combinations of those ways, making us even more unique. Of course, you already know this, I'm just thinking out loud here expanding on it because even I hadn't really thought about it consciously in the context of videos, but of course it's an incredibly important aspect of it; understanding your audience. As an aside, it made me think a bit more than what you mentioned about the piano being set on fire. The aspect of the piano never being the same is not what i personally would have thought on the surface, so i enjoy having that description of it. For me it also gave me the feeling of finality in multiple ways. The pack is like the relationship and won't be there to experience ever again. This performance is also fleeting, trying to hold onto to it until the end, but the end is now. The relationship, the song, the performance, the piano; none of them are coming back. It fits perfectly with your observation of getting like he's trying to be closer to the song itself as if somehow it makes him closer to what's he's lost, but it's gone and so will this expression of it whether he wants it to be or not. I think you managed to make a powerful video even more powerful by experiencing it with us and adding depth to it that we might not have had without you. In life, friends do that for each other all the time whether it be a simple moment in our lives or enjoying art and entertainment like this together. It's why I've always preferred watching a movie with friends over watching it alone, even though i greatly enjoy it both ways. I always enjoy seeing things from other people's eyes, benefitting from their knowledge and experience, and even enjoying the way they enjoy it. That's one of the reasons I i enjoy your channel so much. This isn't just a reaction, it's a way to enjoy media together with friends and experience it in ways we might not have on our own. 💜
