Ahh Tablo was referencing the last championship that Michael Jordan had with the Bull's he shot out the lights with a game winning shot 44 points and Michael Jordan was sick with the flu that day too. This progression of "Legends" is pretty typical though in my experience in the Korean Market. My 2 cents are: The market is geared towards marketing 20-30 year old artists towards 12-19 year old audiences. That`s their playbook. Especially in Kpop but also music industry in general. Once the artists turn 30-35+ and their fans turn 25-30 and start to have more things going on in life than just their fandom the industry kind of loses interest. Many mostly retire at that age from music (voluntarily or not) but the OGs can keep going but with a much less hype inflated, much more loyal fanbase which means groups who had 50-60-100 million views in their prime now have 1-3 Million, groups who had 5-10 million now have 500k. The reality is that the K-music industry (in my opinion) has yet to learn what to do with 35+ fans and artists and how to market to them and only now that the big K-Pop groups of the past are reaching that age more and more are these artists (Epic High, Shinee, Exo, Bing Bang) mostly solo blazing the trail here with smaller production companies they switch to. I suspect once the real current big hitters like BTS, Blackpink, Stray Kids start reaching 35+ in 5-10 years is when the industry as a whole will slowly start to move and follow the trail the EPik High, Onew, D.O., Baekyhyuns, BOAs of the world are blazing now.

Epic High has gotten so much crap from Koreans they questioned Tablo's education at Stanford and even when he brought the receipts they still gave him crap. Very underrated in Korea but the OGs just keep going and winning. I love these guys. Your welcome Captain Snack I do try to pay attention. 😉
