It was a long and hard weekend of a lot of issues for everyone. You did your best with every issue that was thrown at you. I couldn't get the last session in so I was bummed I couldn't try and push my time further. There's always next year and I hope next time the weekend goes better for everyone.

Keep your head up my guy. Know this, you’re honing your craft you’ve got a LOT of people that are supporting you. NEVER say you feel like an idiot, because you’re not, your context alone speaks for itself. You’re ok, no injuries. You’re learning , not losing. It could have been worse. Continue your craft.

Hey Dut, honestly I'm going to tell you that you are way too hard on yourself when things aren't going how you think they should. The things that happen, unfortunately are just par for the course when you're racing. Cars break, track conditions change, other drivers have their issues and the only thing that you can count on is that things happen. Solely speaking for myself but I don't expect you to be perfect all the time. Keep up the hard work because it is paying off and it shows.

The reason i kept my suscription to your channel is because the track content dude. Even when you're doing incredible well and you could easily turn your content to super cars or builds for the street, you took the expensive and best path, because track is the reason we live!. Not a racer myself, but I do own a 2018 type R I plan to track eventually; but I gotta say, from an enthusiasts perspective, this is race life. Now If your concerned about social media presence and reputation, well, it’s par for the course with regards to that category too. Lesson learned. Rewatch footage. Rebuild. Rerace. Man, shit happens in racing and in life. It can get frustrating and throw you off your game a bit or dip your confidence but you gotta do whatever you can to pick yourself up and get back to it and work like hell to be even better than you were before. You did it once with your youtube journey and you're doing it all over again in your racing career. It will all work out and these experiences are just stepping stones to that end result. Always forward, never stop.

Don't worry. If you aren't pushing yourself, you won't improve your driving. It's just part of the game. I love the passion and effort you put into it.

I raced atv motocross for almost 10 years kinda different but same concept. I've had wrecks and a good bit of them was cause I pushed just a little to hard. Sometimes you push to much and something happens. Then after that you know your limits and where not to push. You are a awesome driver Dustin!

I love how polished the edits are that Rome does for these. I’d be super interested in seeing these events become full Rome productions with a more formal style. The Vlog style feels like it clashes. Maybe more of an interview or Voiceover style? NGL it might just be I want more Rome edits in my life lol.

Racing for the fastest time possible by definition implies you are pushing the car and yourself to the limit crashing is part of finding that limit it never feels good but if you don't let the fear of it overcome you it always helps you to improve long term I think this will ultimately make u a much better racer.

For over heating, you need to switch to distilled water and water wetter. I’ve heard mishimoto makes a super coolant that’s supposed to be good but I haven’t used it. Water and water wetter runs crazy cooler than coolant. Good work my man. Experiences like this make us better whether good or bad.

@SleepingForest-ct Жыл бұрын
Hey man, that happens to everyone in racing. If you wanted the splitter to be more cost effective just trace out the splitter shape you want and use a plastic/fiberglass one. Keep the look and not be near as pricey, for if and when it starts to wear or break. Not 100% sure, but I believe a lot of people do that

Love your mindset and builds which is why I've been following you for a long time, but as you kind of mentioned you need to practice a bit more and slow it down with your track builds. Building to build only creates more issues. Start with something simple and reliable and evolve it into something that fits your driving experience. I was hoping you would build the EG civic as a track horse and gain a ton of experience from it. Would be a great journey ❤

Sorry to hear about the rough weekend man 😢 Would love to see you get back into this same class with something RWD and 6+ cylinders. I know you love the CTR’s, but the FWD platform is just inherently less capable. It would be awesome to see you build a Cayman or Supra! Hell, it might even be cool to convert the 400Z into a full race car 🔥🔥🔥 (you already own it after all…)
