Hard labor is just that: hard work. It's also rewarding and a great daily workout. Thank you for identifying the person I saw in a picture with Chamath. It was Joe Rogan! I've only seen him sitting, never standing, always wearing headphones or a cap.

This is so beautiful: Jason’s idea of handywoman making $35/hour driving her self-driving Tesla from deep suburbia to Manhattan 🎉

We have to get to the bottom of quality in AI. Right now the path we are on is gonna lead us down the road of mediocrity. It’s a problem.

There was a great All In Summit talk with a Waymo exec who stated they were building one model: the best driver in the world. This kind of narrow AI is already getting better, but only because our current (disconnected) gitbased versioning infrastructure enables this. To enable more diverse AI models, we will have to build a different model versioning infrastructure that creates essentially an evolutionary selective system where you can clone and fork individual models and provide git-merge-like behavior. Basically we create a DNA-like system which can take two routes: one like transfer learning (e.g. keras) and one more RAG-based (i.e. text/media based) for LLMs. But we need the versioning infrastructure paradigm shift - which won't happen until someone invests in a distributed architecture built apart from git...hey like my ibgib protocol!

How has the number of employees / users / revenue ever defined the innovation engine of a company? If anything they can contraindicate?

New theory: everyone at OpenAi sees 'something' (aka AGI), then decide what to actually do with their lives.....maybe our future is clear

The topic was getting good, but it gets cringy liberal babble in the last 30 minutes....... We have enough of this on the news, pls. Not everyone has due diligence like a M&A expert as a youtuber lol. Hindsight, solipsistic talk.
