It took me until I was tired of the penitentiary life to finally say enough is enough so I went into construction for one it was the only job no one gave a shit about my past. In my opinion, i dont believe it should be up to the government to educate you while youre locked up. But i do believe they should have the opportunities available to learn skills that pay the bills. But its ultimately up to the individual to take the action to educate themselves during their sentence using any method they can. Now i know they use to have programs to help inmates learn skills im not sure if the budget for those programs have been slashed ( which i dont doubt) however look at the dude in san quinn that educated himself about stocks and bonds and hes successful so when he gets out he can apply those skills and be a productive member of society. His story should be inspiring to inmates who seek a change in their lifestyle. All you gotta do is put in the time and effort.

I like this o.g. but I disagree on the government setting us up. I was locked up 13 yrs old to 19 years old, now I own my own business through hard work. Truth is it all starts at home. Complaints from not having enough handicaps our children. Only way to stay out of jail is to work period.
